  1. Two pre-season friendlies announced: July 4th, Sunday, 16:00 CET - Werder vs CSKA Sofia July 7th, Wednesday, 18:00 CET - Werder vs Zenit St. Petersburg
  2. Lost Dark For All Mankind M*A*S*H Warrior Honorable mentions: Westworld, Person of Interest, The Mandalorian
  3. So Augustinsson confirmed he'll be leaving us as "he has higher ambitions than playing in 2. Liga" Oh well, don't let the door hit you on your way out then.
  4. Now available on Steam. Looking forward to the reviews...
  5. Considering he can play both CB and LB, seems like a direct replacement for Friedl... But I have no doubts Augustinsson will leave as well, Toprak likely as well.
  6. Any idea how good/bad he is? Bröndby fans absolutely love him; it seems he developed well in Denmark.
  7. We are reportedly close to signing Anthony Jung on a free transfer - an LB/CB who last played in Bröndby, and has experience playing in both 1. and 2. Bundesliga with Ingolstadt and RB Leipzig. He reportedly underwent his medical yesterday, and has rejected Bochum's offer as well as Bröndby's contract extension.
  8. Decided to put Mass Effect on hold until I finish the first game (some time in the future). Felt like reading some Murakami again, so started with the first volume of 1Q84...
  9. Probably not invented for the pyramid workers as there's evidence of beer being fermented way earlier (potentially all the way back to the hunter-gatherer tribes), but the pyramid workers in Egypt indeed got daily rations of beer - plenty of it! And yes, I agree, it is one of the most important inventions of all time. It pretty much built civilisation. One of my favourite articles ever: https://nautil.us/issue/8/home/beer-domesticated-man
  10. Andy Weir's Project Hail Mary was a great read; one of the best sci-fi books I've read in recent years. Currently reading: &
  11. Then I'd highly recommend it. LOST was the series that has captivated me like nothing else before (and no other series did after - until Dark). @Tommy can vouch for it, too.
  12. I didn't say you can't criticise her though? My point was, if you criticise her for bad decisions, you have to be ready to give her credit for the good ones. Big difference.
  13. My point is, you can't cherry pick - she's equally as responsible for the successes of the franchise as she is responsible for its failures, especially when she okays or vetoes the projects and picks the people to create them.
  14. And yet if it wasn't for Kennedy, Favreau & Filoni wouldn't even have had a chance to create The Mandalorian. Yes, she deserves criticism for the direction the franchise took under her leadership, but people acting like she's someone who single-handedly "ruined" Star Wars as if she's some Palpatine kind of evil is truly tiresome.
  15. No haha, just a random thought after reading your summary!
  16. I often wonder how fucked up in the head someone has to be to come up with a movie plot like that...
  17. They are also sending baby squids... Just look how cute the are!
  18. Press conference with Markus Anfang: https://www.werder.de/#&gid=1&pid=1?jwsource=cl
