  1. Sorry, didn't see this before. I don't know, I kind of change places every once in a while...
  2. Sure, no problem. I probably won't be here anymore, but feel free to take over my apartment
  3. Oh absolutely, it would be the first time in 3 years I actually use the whole apartment
  4. It looks good, and I'm eager to try it, hehe. So you prepare currywurst, Lars brings KöPi, I arrange more beer and Thai food. Jesse brings cheese. We're all settled guys!
  5. All sorted then, you can cook it for us Still find it weird, if you boil coke, the residue is pure sugary syrup though. The consistency sounds like it would be just spot on for a curry sauce, but I can't wrap my head around the sweetness!
  6. That's weird, I imagine it's quite sweet then, especially with Cola AND Apfelmus? My chef always did it with diced tomatoes or tomato paste + a bit of stock as a base, curry and paprika powder, some brown sugar and Apfelmus or Orange juice and spices to balance the taste.
  7. Why would we preoccupy ourselves with that when we have you to take care of it? And yeah, curry is a good shout
  10. Was isst Du denn so? Ich mag Thai, aber die Kambodschanische Küche ist leider nicht so gut. @Tsubasa you can send it to me by post together with Lars' KöPi
  13. A real one, haha. Or at least closer to Ruhrpott style, anyway, as it's a Bavarian restaurant
  14. I've missed it a lot! We've got quite a few German/Turkish/European places here, some good some gash, but none had döner on their menu until now. Can't compare it to a proper one in D, but it's still pretty good. Now the only things missing are mett and fischbrötchen, and I'd be well covered in terms of food
  15. It's rainy season here, so we're supposed to have loads of rain, but it's much less than in previous years so far - at least in my town. I guess it will hit us late this time, maybe September-October. Temperatures are lower than 30 in general, cloudy and quite windy, so it's very comfortable, can't complain. Have a bit of work to do this weekend, so no plans... some beer and football/Moto GP. Good news is I recently stumbled upon a new German cafe that makes a lovely döner
  16. Sainteloc-Audi R8 (Christopher Haase, Jules Gounon and Markus Winkelhock) have just won 24 hours of Spa. Bentley Continental GT finished 2nd, Mercedes AMG GT3 (Team Akka ASP) 3rd. Timo Bernhard team's Porsche 911 GT3 had all the chances to win the race, great performance, but due to getting 3 minute stop & go + a drivetrough penalty early into the race they only finished 4th. Pretty exciting race altogether.
  17. Yeah not intentional, but still 100% his fault. Ricciardo left him enough place, he locked up and lost control of his car.
  18. Looked like it was Verstappen who pushed Ricciardo out...
  19. Ah ok, I get it now. You're right of course, and that was really an unnecessary death which could have been easily avoided if it weren't for incompetence - or rather negligence - of organisers. As for Ford, I think they still have only delivered 50 of those road-going models of GT, haha. I think they've got a waiver to enter the race as a PR event to that 50 years anniversary of winning Le Mans the last time. That of course doesn't make it fair at all though.
  20. Haha, that new Ford GT was indeed a bit of a cheater car, but to be fair, they are not the first ones to produce limited road-going versions of their new racing cars solely to meet homologation rules; the governing bodies of most series have always been very lenient about it. As for dangers of motorsports - it's always going to be there, that's the very nature and the main source of excitement. I'm not sure what does it have to do with my post, though.
  21. How thorough is the security nowadays? My last attended match in Bremen was in 2010, and even then we were searched quite thoroughly...
