It is Royal Antwerpen, not sure why they chose to say it as if it was a big secret

What a shame.

Oh that's quite likely as I said, I'm aware that there's some good stuff in there. The other thing is, I personally have little to none interest in the topics like that - negotiating, leadership, management skills, etc. and have a huge distaste for the whole "business" setting in general, which makes it all even less appealing to me. I will have to check Tony Robbins now just to see how high it scores on my bullshit radar
-
I don't even know who Tony Robbins is But there's just so much bullshit, pseudoscience and fluff in the genre that even while I'm sure there is some good stuff out there as well, it gets burried under the huge pile of poo. So every time I see a book that follows the same template (clickbaity title, flashy cover, promises to teach you something that will change your life, boasts about the number of sales, just to name a few), it immediately sets massive red flags and alarm bells start ringing in my head
-
No, I mean most of those leadership, management, armchair psychology, life-coaching, self-improvement and personal development books in general. I think I'm allergic to it

Bad day at work?... Anyway, to add to your list of observations: - in terms of advancing in your professional career, networking and interpersonal relationships are by far more important than actual skills and knowledge. Being the best at your job is great and has its advantages as well, but it's not the road to promotion. - staying neutral in office politics, not taking sides, and being good at keeping "secrets" puts you in a very good position, as everyone tends to confide in you and thus you always have plenty of information you can eventually use for your own advantage. - senior management in big companies don't know jack shit. -

The test won't show that. It's possible to test positive for Covid weeks or even months after recovery. In general, as long as you have no more symptoms, it's safe to be around people 10-14 days after the first onset of symptoms, as you're not likely to be contagious at that point.

Love this. That said, whenever I'm visiting any zoo, I always feel very uneasy seeing the great apes there. I know that a lot of zoos are a good thing in terms of wildlife conservation etc. and they also take good care of the animals, but it just feels insanely wrong to have those intelligent, human-like apes having to spend their lives locked up and constantly observed. Same applies to every animal, but the great apes hit especially close to home.

Jungle Cruise (2021) An old fashioned adventure-fantasy family flick. Reminded me of those movies you watch with your parents on Saturday night as a kid. Nothing special, and a predictable plot and outcome, but also good mindless fun. 6.5/10

Oh they definitely have more than one contingency plan, haha. In this case, the Crew Dragon and Soyuz we're both ready to evacuate the astronauts/cosmonauts, if needed. And I agree, as you said, anything can happen. Space is always a dangerous place for a person to be, regardless of all the advancement and progress.

Fair enough, I wrongly assumed everyone has Netflix...
-
It's on Netflix, subtitles included.

I'm a big fan myself. I think Rapid Wien did a great job by developing him, not rushing him and not hyping him up too much. He joined them when he was 10 years old I think, and then he made all the way from their youth setups to the first team, where they slowly integrated him into the squad and let him adapt to grown-up football with no pressure and no huge expectations. Now he gets to make the next step, develop further and learn from better teammates. Hope he can impress during the actual season and Barca will activate the clause to buy him. For 10million, he's surely a steal. Just hope Rapid get some sort of sell on clause into it, as well.

I almost missed out on quite a few shows that are now my favourites because I thought the description/plot summary was shite so I kinda ignore it now.
-
Glad you like it. I think it's a pretty unique plot, and the Scandinavian grittiness makes for a very fitting atmosphere. Really looking forward to Season 2!

17 days to go until Le Mans. 62 cars, 128 drivers. Entry list here: https://assets.lemans.org/explorer/pdf/courses/2021/24-heures-du-mans/entry-list-24-heures-du-mans-2021.pdf Derek Bell will be the Grand Marshall this year

Best Bentley in P12, I think.

Wow, what an end of the race... Pier Guidi overtakes Dries Vanthoor in the wet on the outside in Blanchimont and wins the race for Iron Lynx (Ferrari)! Aston Martin in 3rd. That WRT Team Audi did extremely well, considering it started last, and managed to finish P2.

Also when you see what's left of Aitken's car... Mental. As much as I love Spa, they should consider making changes to that corner. Serious accidents happen there almost every year.
-
Considering that everyone involved survived and also escaped without life threatening injuries, I'll post the video of the accident now... A massive, massive shunt.
-
Yusuf Demir also scored, I hear. You'll going to have a lot of fun with him.
-
Finally, some news... Broken collarbone and fractured vertebrae for Jack Aitken. Not great, but could have been so much worse... Hope he makes a fast and full recovery.
