Some Palestinians have been detained by Israeli forces and stripped, with one Palestinian journalist amongst them. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-67659296

The beginning of the end for Codemasters. https://www.eurogamer.net/ea-confirms-layoffs-at-f1-developer-codemasters Pretty sure I mentioned on here when they were first brought that EA were going to fuck them and the games they made, and eventually put a bullet in their head. This is just backing that up.

Another random one I remember was a Sunderland bint who was laughing at one of the Newcastle lads (Kev I think) because he was working in Greggs at the time. With the picture she had and refusing to say what she did, everyone just ripped into her saying her job was regularly opening her legs.
-
That I do vaguely remember, though the the next two...... I don't.

I know they're repeated, but the ones I generally remember were: 1. Scoutgate. 2. Pornea threatening to go up to Newcastle to beat the shit out of one of the Newcastle lads. 3. Swifty and his love affair with 'Deadlinebooby'. 4. One of the Chelsea lads saying you could easily get to Chrlsea by walking, despite living quite a bit north of there (I think). 5. That Scottish lad who always had a chip on his shoulder saying that Balotelli was better than Taarabt because 'Balotelli scored more goals in the Euros'. 6. The Everton fan who said Nikica Jelavic was better than Luis Suarez because he had a better goals to games ratio.

Funny this was mentioned. https://www.eurogamer.net/capcom-confirms-more-resident-evil-remakes-on-the-way

In terms of sneaking around, it's like stealth, but in a different way to the games you mentioned because of the type of games they all are. Uncharted is more of an action adventure game where stealth is mainly used as part of set pieces or just for stealth kills where possible (i.e. you've sneaked behind the enemy to kill them). They aren't stealth games where sneaking around like what @Mel81x mentioned is required. The Last of Us has more in the way of stealth and if you want a better comparator, it's closer to that than Uncharted. In this case, it's used in a survival horror sense as being stealthy in taking out the infected or killing other humans is better than all guns blazing, as you'll very quickly get overwhelmed and killed if there's too many. The Metal Gear games have mainly been around stealth and infiltration throughout, as again, while you can shoot enemies and the like, you won't last very long as enemies will hone in on you and basically take you out if you're spotted, especially as you had to be out of line of sight and, in the case of MGS3, be camouflaged well enough to avoid detection. That's not to say you don't use weapons or the like at all and you do need them to take out bosses and the like.

What about Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake?
-
In fairness, if they didn't pass over the remains of Big Boss, they'd launch a nuclear weapon.

You groomed me.

If that's the recent Metal Gear Solid collection, tread a little carefully as apparently Konami have done the square root of fuck all with them (in fact, when there was a technical comparison being made against the consoles it's out for, one of the showed a logo brief for the HD Collection that came out on PS3 and 360). That's not to say the games are bad at all and for what it's worth, you do get 6/7 games out of it (depending on how you want to be with the original Metal Gear, as it has both the MSX and NES version in the collection). It's just that for what they're charging and what they've done with the games, Konami are taking the piss really. Not sure if he's aware, but there's another collection due out that has the other games on there, including MGS4, which only released on PS3 I believe.

You could add to the remake argument to revitalise a series if it has gone dormant (which you mentioned a little) or struggling, to see if gamers are interested in more of those games. Two examples from the top of my head are the Crash N Sane trilogy and the Advance Wars Reboot Camp, the former as the series had struggled in recent years and possibly causing the market to lose interest, and the latter without a game in the series for 15 years. The end result for Crash saw Crash 4: It's About Time being created and well received. Not sure on sale figures for Advance Wars though and wouldn't be surprised if that goes dormant again. For the technology angle, I believe Shadow of the Colossus came out on PS2 to wide acclaim, but I heard it struggled a bit on the hardware, to which the PS4 version was released (which I played and really enjoyed in fairness).

Just watched an advert for WWE Survivor Series and there's apparently two rings in play at the same time. Why?
-
We all now agreeing at long last that the premiership ('the best league in the world', 'where all the best players in the world want to go', etc etc etc) is corrupt and mainly protecting the big boys? I'm sure if it gets to be more mainstream that the likes of Gary Neville, Carragher, Rio Ferdinand et al will try to defend it.

Probably being stupid here, but isn't there a fair bit of a Jewish presence in Hollywood? Just thinking any actor or actress that mentions anything like this (even when it isn't antisemetic) is going to be classed as antisemitic in their eyes straight away, regardless of what's posted.

Newcastle allowed to loan players from PIF-owned Saudi clubs. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67490620 Be curious to know who the clubs were that voted against the block. -
Better prospects in your new role? Only things I can think of from the top of my head are sending them from your work to personal email (I've done this myself for uni related work or data as needed) or put them on a USB stick if possible, neither of which are recommended as they can be tracked and blocked as you mentioned.

Didn't even know TNA was still going. I remember liking what I saw originally when it was the six sided ring (even if that was more gimmicky than anything). Started to lose interest not long after Hogan and Bischoff got involved. Not sure what it's like these days.

That's fine and all, but you would have been undefeated if you had Bobby Glatzel.

@Dan and @RandoEFC. Your dream job awaits.

I second RE2 Remake as well. Was very good overall, with my only gripe really being how the story interwined with each other compared to the original. I won't spoil anything.

I'm a bit hesitant on buying any FIFA/FC game on Switch as EA tend to update the teams and that's about it (I.e. it's literally the same as the previous version).

The original was very good in fairness. Would arguably say it stands up well against the other classics in the Zelda series. Had both the Game Boy and Game Boy Colour versions when they came out (despite being the same but you know..........colour!!!) and might still have my Game Boy Colour version somewhere.
