  1. Not sure whether to start a new game tomorrow or not, mainly something that doesn't take ages to complete (so no RPG's and the like). Thinking I'll either start The Last of Us 2 or do MK11's story, seeing as MK1 is out (I think).
  2. Fair play. I was a little surprised when he went to Hull as I had him as at least a higher Championship (maybe lower premiership if developed correctly) player. He was inconsistent to begin with, but showed his worth in the latter stages of last season and was simply too good for us really.
  3. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/66726456 Backs up what the Man U fans on here have been saying about their transfer activities.
  4. I'd take anything IGN related with a pinch of salt in all honesty. Useful for general news, but most of the time, reviews are all over the place.
  5. How dare you criticise his transfer @Dr. Gonzo, @Rick, @LFCMadLad, @LFCMike and everyone else. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/66714875
  6. Didn't notice Philogene was sold. How much did he go for in the end?
  7. Got shot of Jack Simpson yesterday by mutual consent and signed Panzo on loan as his replacement, even though it's a loan. Happily take that any day of the week. It says a lot that we had Simpson available for the Wednesday and Birmingham games, yet never made the bench for other, despite having no other CB's at the time.
  8. Only ended up watching the final, but was pleasantly surprised when I heard the ref mention to the crowd about the decision and saying it was a pen. Can't see any reason why that can't happen, though after what was mentioned above, it won't happen.
  9. Only just saw this and was surprised to hear about it, especially as he was only 36(!!!!). Hearing this and Terry Funk's passing has made this a sad 24 hours or so for the wrestling world. RIP.
  10. I did see it earlier. Sounded absolutely terrifying reading that.
  11. That's what I'd be interested in based on what I mentioned above. I just think none of them will get truly punished unfortunately. I was reading that the chief executive at the time, Tony Chambers, quit within weeks of her arrest (which usually says a lot) and saying that doctors were to blame for not finding things sooner. https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2023/aug/20/hospital-chief-claims-he-acted-promptly-to-move-letby-off-ward I won't go into other areas, but couple this sort of thing with a couple of things that have happened in Wales as well and you start to see why I don't hold out a lot of hope that those ignoring concerns won't be punished.
  12. Fully justified as well. Not only murdering and attempted murder, but trying to hide it, remove documents relating to them and pass the blame onto others as well among other things. The fact the defence couldn't give any circumstances to reduce the sentence says everything really. Rotting in jail for the remainder of her days is the only sentence.
  13. Unfortunately, the first part in bold, regardless of where you are in the UK, isn't anything new. Working in NHS Wales, the amount of times we're told that we need to be 'accountable for our actions', yet you hear things like this and other hospitals/areas where negligence has occurred due to issues that senior management and directors paying no notice or ignoring concerns, is laughable really. No accountability at the top whatsoever and I'll be surprised if anything happens to the nursing director (who's been suspended, but likely on a 'wait until it blows over' basis) or anyone else. If anything does happen, expect a lovely golden handshake for those cunts. For the second part, they should be facing jail themselves as they've basically played a part in those deaths by ignoring concerns and letting it continuing, but we know that won't happen. Sorry, that started to turn into a minor rant there.
  14. As well as officially signing Runarsson on loan from Arsenal, we've also signed Manolis Sioplis on a free transfer after leaving Trabzonspor. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/66535314
  15. Though not officially confirmed, we've apparently signed Arsenal goalie Runarsson on loan for the season, though haven't heard many good thing about him. @6666, are we fucked if this is official?
  16. Admittedly didn't see the game, but thought this deserved a bump after reading this. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/66506026
  17. I think my three strikers played about 30 minutes combined this weekend. It's going to be a long season.
  18. Getting close to finishing Like a Dragon: Ishin, aka Samurai Yakuza. Been enjoying it in fairness, feeling both fresh (new gameplay styles of swords guns and even both at the same time, as well as fists) and familiar (substories, the characters you see, minigames, tasks etc). Also based on real life history as well, though I don't know anything about the period in question. One to look up methinks. Not sure what to play on after though. Probably something on the Switch, though following my playthrough of Advance Wars Reboot, I'm tempted to go back and complete Advance Wars Dark Conflict/Days of Ruin, as it's the only one I never completed.
  19. I have 2 of those you mentioned above. I'll pass this time around sorry.
  20. Didn't they spend about £150m altogether last season in transfer fees alone? Truly wreckless by Forest.
  21. @Viva la FCB, I would be tempted to give it another play through on PS5, but I can't justify the price in all honesty for what is basically a PS3 game with refined controls from TLOU2 and better graphics (a quick check on Hot UK Deals showed the cheapest at £40). That and Like a Dragon: Ishin is eating away my time at present.
