  1. Not really sure what to play next now. With GOTY 2023 Advance Wars Reboot Camp not due until mid to end of April, I'm not too sure what to play next (if I can be arsed to unpack the boxes since moving to my house). I have a few I haven't touched yet and they are as follows. God of War (2018) Last of Us Part 2 Horizon Zero Dawn Lost Judgment Final Fantasy 7 PS5 version Turtles Cowabunga Collection Ultimate Mortal Kombat 11 Leaning more towards God of War and Last of Us Part 2 as they're generally shorter games (FF7, Horizon and Lost Judgment will likely eat into my time). Could be tempted to buy Like a Dragon: Ishin as well (gotta love the Yakuza series).
  2. Think I'm done with Yakuza: Like a Dragon now. Completed the game and done a lot of the side stuff. However, there is one last challenge as the true final 'dungeon' is now available to me as my final challenge. The game pretty much recommends that I'm more or less at max level to stand a chance of beating it. So I had a crack at around mid to high 70's. My party was basically one shotted.
  3. One for @The Palace Fan. We've signed Connor Wickham on a free transfer. Didn't realise he's only 29. Feels like he's been around for ages.
  4. Never played the original. I still have the disc for Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge, which is a bit awkward as my laptop doesn't have a CD drive (not that it'd work anyway).
  5. Rumours going around that 2023 game of the year Advance Wars Reboot Camp (originally going to be 2022 game of the year) is looking like it'll finally be released shortly after delaying its April release after Russia invaded Ukraine, with one (admittedly unverified) rumour saying that it could be released on 10th February. Been waiting for these for a long time as I really loved the original duo (even if the first one has some balancing issues originally), so hopefully they don't fuck this. Fun fact for anyone unaware. The first Advance Wars was delayed in Europe and Japan following the September 11th attacks, of which the American version had actually been released the day before.
  6. I'm probably a broken record at this point, but when the game sells a shit ton and people piss their money away on Ultimate Team, why bother putting the effort in.
  7. Started Yakuza: Like a Dragon and I'm liking it so far, even though the shift from brawler to RPG does feel weird, but it's still good fun.
  8. Heard a lot of love for Stardew Valley. Unfortunately, once my final assignment is done, it's Yakuza: Like a Dragon for me.
  9. Doing the business apparently. https://www.eurogamer.net/high-on-life-is-now-the-most-popular-thing-on-xbox-game-pass
  10. Resi 2 gave me two shit your pants moments as I simply didn't expect it. One involving a licker and the other (which never gets spoken about surprisingly) involving the tyrant. I don't tend to jump that easily as you can see when it's coming, but those two moments definitely shit my pants.
  11. Fair enough. Some are not too bad. For example, I would class The Last of Us more as survival horror with tension rather than being outright scary. Of course, Alien Isolation would fall more under scary due to its atmosphere and, from what I heard, the Alien AI itself being very good when it becomes cat and mouse. I still need to finish that.
  12. That's interesting. There's a few games like that but you have no idea how it gets there until the end. I liked Until Dawn and managed to save five of the eight (annoyingly, I couldn't kill off the one I hated), but don't remember if there's a path that saves all of them.
  13. I haven't. Heard it was ok from what I remember when it was released. How much on Steam?
  14. I see the Palace and Spurs legend is somehow still going. Only 30 as well. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/63888928
  15. I've been meaning to get that at some point. Really liked Doom 2016 but never got this for some reason.
  16. Not bad. Heard good things about that in fairness.
  17. For some reason, I thought that shit down ages ago. No idea why. Nice. Haven't heard of it before but hope you enjoy For me, it's basically FM23 on my mobile when I get some free time between work, uni assignments and a house move.
  18. While you both wait for this glorious game, you can play Jesus Christ RPG in the meantime. https://store.steampowered.com/app/449040/Jesus_Christ_RPG_Trilogy/#:~:text=Title%3A Jesus Christ RPG Trilogy,Franchise%3A Jesus Christ RPG
  19. https://www.eurogamer.net/fifa-licenses-array-of-qatar-world-cup-web3-blockchain-and-mobile-apps What the actual fuckery did I just read?
  20. I find that an opportunity for certain types of criminals at a chance for redemption. If you win, congrats, you go free. If you fail, nighty night for you.
  21. @Carnivore Chris, I have a PS5 myself, though it seems like you can't go too wrong with either console in all honesty. It's worth looking into Gamepass on Xbox though. Very good games to choose from for a monthly fee and even brand new releases are added to it day one.
  22. Probably for the best to sink it really, as Twatter is an absolute shitshow.
  23. @The Palace Fan I forgot to mention this for Clash at the Castle last month. I don't watch much of WWE, but remember really enjoying the NXT Takeover in Cardiff a couple of years back, when Gunther was Walter at the time. Why oh why did they change his entrance music? It was great under his previous guise, but now it just sounds like your typical 'I'm going to shit down your neck and rip out your baby's eyes' Eastern European style entrance music like others before him.
