  1. Actually got tickets for it, despite never watching it. Going with a couple of workmates, so hoping it'll be good.
  2. Basically you're saying you'll lose 4-0, which means you'll actually lose 5-0.
  3. Saturday 24th August, 2024 Bristol City 1-2 Coventry, 12.30 Hibernian 1-0 Dundee Lyon 1-0 Monaco, 16.00 Udinese 0-2 Lazio, 17.30 Espanyol 1-1 Real Sociedad, 20.30 Sunday 25th August, 2024 CF Montreal 1-1 New England, 00.30 LA Galaxy 2-2 Atlanta Utd, 03.30 Magdeburg 0-2 Schalke, 12.30 Sparta Rotterdam 1-2 Feyenoord, 13.30 Swansea A-F Cardiff * A = Arse F = Fuck * Actual score - 4-0
  4. Getting constantly analed. The weird thing is that we didn't actually play that bad, despite the scoreline. Doesn't help that we gave them a piss easy goal after 4 minutes. After that, they cut us open too easily for the next two, while Horvath couldn't do anything for the final two.
  5. Fuck. Right. Off. Going into a tough game and Horvath's fucking Enckleman'd the ball. 1-0 Burnley.
  6. At least it means we won't get quite as badly twatted tomorrow.
  7. Pretty poor first half, but improved considerably in the second and deserved the win. Nice to see that bar Alnwick, Rinomhota and Kanga, the starting lineup was pretty youthful with everyone else under 25. Usually it'd be those on the fringes of the first team instead.
  8. It's why I mentioned he's a fraud really. Promoted with squads expected to piss the Championship but gets found out completely when actually having to compete.
  9. all kick-offs 15.00 (BST) unless stated Saturday 17th August, 2024 Derby 1-3 Middlesbrough, 12.30 Osnabruck 1-2 Freiburg, 14.30 Parma 0-1 Fiorentina, 17.30 Rangers 3-0 St Johnstone, 17.45 Bayer Leverkusen 3-1 Stuttgart, 19.30 Valencia 0-2 Barcelona, 20.30 Sunday 18th August, 2024 Rennes 0-1 Lyon, 19.45 Palmeiras 1-1 Sao Paulo, 20.00 Boavista 2-2 Sporting Braga, 20.30 Mallorca 0-3 Real Madrid, 20.30
  10. We've played alright, but have not made many chances again. Sunderland's goal was just poor defending from a set piece.
  11. Our 5th signing of the season. Alex Robertson signs from Man City. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c8xlle7752po Was apparently one of Pompey's best players last season prior to his injury in League One, so here's hoping he can make the step up.
  12. Not a chance. We have England international Callum Chambers marshalling the backline and Super Perry Ng to help. So yeah, maybe a 2-0 loss instead.
  13. I'm cautiously optimistic so far for this season. Bulut seems to be making the right noises in the transfer window so far with Willock, Chambers and El Ghazi signed on free transfers, and Kanga on loan (with Alex Robertson from Man City looking likely as well). While we've had a nasty triple injury blow with Etete, Collins and Isaak Davies out for roughly 2-4 months each, we should be ok. So watch that optimism go out the window when Sunderland twat us 3-0.
  14. Was thinking the same when I saw that he signed for Salford. What a fall.
  15. Two new signings for us. Wilfred Kanga has signed on a season loan from Hertha Berlin. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/crgmrm7d7gmo We've also signed El Ghazi on a one year deal. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cydvr3d6zqpo
  16. all kick-offs 15.00 (BST) unless stated Saturday 10th August, 2024 Leeds 3-0 Portsmouth, 12.30 Oxford 0-1 Norwich, 12.30 Man Utd 1-2 Man City Rangers 2-0 Motherwell Dundee 0-1 Hearts, 17.30 Sunday 11th August, 2024 Genk 1-1 Club Brugge, 12.30 Hibernian 1-3 Celtic, 12.30 Ajax 3-0 Heerenveen Sheff Weds 2-1 Plymouth, 16.00 Sampdoria 1-0 Como, 19.45
  17. That wouldn't surprise me. The NHS haemorrhages money like you wouldn't believe on agency workers. My place had one guy from an agency doing the same work as others on higher money, but half the time he fell asleep at his desk (my mate actually got a couple of pictures of him).
  18. While I hate this sort of thing in politics, isn't this normal in terms of towing the party line, regardless of the party involved? The part in bold in Stan's post is naive unfortunately. Really hate that you can't express how you feel is the right thing for political and/or career reasons. What's interesting mind is that most of those suspended were allies of Corbyn. I wonder if there's something in that.
  19. And it's done. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c8864p79dyqo
  20. Honestly, considering the absolute shit that appears on Steam, you could actually have that game made.
