  1. Took them a while to bring Dan Fucking James on. Bet he scores Leeds winner later on.
  2. DEADLOCK BROKEN!!!! Adam Armstrong fed through with no defenders around him and finishes with ease. 1-0 Southampton.
  3. Remember though that he plays in the prem, so will likely get a lot more leniency.
  4. And so it begins. The @Lucas derby between two unexpected sides. The winnder will be showered with the greenary of Sky money for at least a season, while the loser will forever drown in tears when they have to sell all their assets and plummet to the depths of non league football. Who will have the testicular fortitude to win today? The answer will be fully revealed in 3 hours time.
  5. I don't get this appointment if it happens. I really don't. @Dan pretty much covered it for me. Did great in the Championship, but for all the praise he got, they were very poor in the prem this, second only to Sheffield United. If he signed Bobby Glatzel however, that all changes.
  6. Saturday 25th May, 2024 Central Coast Mariners 2-2 Melbourne Victory, 10.45 Celtic 3-1 Rangers Man City 3-1 Man Utd Real Sociedad 0-1 Atletico Madrid, 15.15 Barcelona Women 2-1 Lyon Women, 17.00 Kaiserslautern 0-3 Bayer Leverkusen, 19.00 Sunday 26th May, 2024 St Louis City 1-1 Seattle Sounders, 01.30 Frosinone 0-1 Udinese, 14.00 Leeds 1-0 Southampton, 15.00 Club Brugge 2-1 Cercle Brugge, 17.30
  7. Where do you guys think Klopp ranks compared to other managers like Paisley, Shankley and Hodgson? I know it's different times and the likes, but just curious.
  8. I agree with Sheffield United and Burnley being utter shite, but think putting Luton in the same category is a tad harsh when everyone thought they were going to get twatted left, right and centre throughout the season, a squad that was considered much worse than both and more than likely the lowest budget in the league, yet competed far more than either of those. Took 4 points off Newcastle, a point off Liverpool (nearly getting all 3), demolished Brighton at home and almost got a point against Arsenal. Looking at some fixtures, they seemed to be the reverse Ipswich in that they conceded in the dying minutes in games, as opposed to scoring. Just think that you'll be playing these next season.
  9. Bit late, but watched Wrestlemania 40 over the past few days and enjoyed it overall. Surprised with the amount of title changes.
  10. Yeah, was hoping Norwich or West Brom might have upset the party, but neither did a thing really. Expected final and looking forward to it. Think Leeds will win, but don't think anyone can argue with either of them going up.
  11. They've got four of our players. They'll be fine. Congrats to Oxford. Murphy showing the type of player he can be when he turns up.
  12. And the award for most random post goes to............
  13. Ng. The man. The myth. The legend. We'll have £45m for him please Man U.
  14. Saturday 18th May 2024 Hearts 1-3 Rangers, 12.30 Union Berlin 2-0 Freiburg, 14.30 Man Utd Women 1-4 Chelsea Women Bolton 1-0 Oxford, 16.15 Sunday 19th May, 2024 New York City FC 2-2 New York RB, 00.30 Wehen 0-3 St Pauli, 14.30 Anderlecht 1-1 Club Brugge, 17.30 Galatasaray 1-1 Fenerbahce, 20.00 Granada 1-2 Celta Vigo, 18.00 Le Havre 0-2 Marseille, 20.00
  15. 0-0 in both games. Leeds and Southampton with the advantage methinks.
  16. Only thing Burnley attempted to do right was make an attempt at staying up when it was more or less too late. Considering the hype they had, they should have done better.
  17. 5-0 wins for Norwich and West Brom please.
  18. I'm hoping for Cardiff Reject FC myself. They've done well and have 4 of our ex-players (Brown, Murphy, Harris and Bennett), who'll probably tear us apart if we played them.
