  1. Admittedly didn't watch the match, but from what I saw of the match stats and from what mates were saying, it seemed like a typical England performance under Southgate. Got the goal, kept the clean sheet, and were solid if unremarkable.
  2. Albania lead after 23 seconds. Italy should have equalised straight after mind.

  4. Yeah I did see that Perfect Dark is back on the radar again. Haven't seen the trailer though. Will watch it afterwards.
  5. Wasn't it this one that's meant ot have the women's teams as well?
  6. Does it say a lot that I didn't even know there was a showcase or show on?
  7. Consortium of international investors have tabled a £400m bid to buy Everton. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cjmmrwk4nz0o
  8. I do have a little tin foil hat theory behind why clubs rejected it, but as it was more or less rejected unanimously, it doesn't quite work out.
  9. Gonna leave this here. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/crggq0jygq6o
  10. Cheers for doing that @Stan. Disappointed to lose 2nd at the end but hey ho.
  11. Yeah, I'll give 2K credit for that and in fairness, if I was playing games, I'd have given 2K24 a shot as I've heard a lot of good things about it. That and they brought back guest referee matches (I really missed it. Loved it in No Mercy). Yes, as it's made by a different company. Actually, seeing as @Spike mentioned it literally as I was typing, that's one concern that I'd have as 2K have had a habit of going nuts with micro transactions in the NBA series. Not that EA were saints in that regard mind.
  12. In fairness, if a club like Chelsea want you as your manager, you'd struggle to turn it down. If it was someone like Fulham for example, then I'd agree with you more.
  13. Gotta love fit and proper ownership tests. It's doing a superb job.
  14. In fairness, they only did that after the catastrophe that was 2K20. I'll laugh my ass off mind if they start snapping licences like the Premiership etc. That'll put pressure on EA then.
  15. Surprised they didn't consider us, considering we've partially done that.
  16. Rooney to Plymouth, Maresca to yourselves and Kompany to Bayern. Very very random.
  17. US saying that Israel's operation in Rafah doesn't cross red lines. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cv22pl9p212o
  18. Saturday 1st June 2024 Mexico 2-1 Bolivia, 01.00 Costa Rica 0-2 Uruguay, 03.00 Borussia Dortmund 1-3 Real Madrid, 20.00 Brazil Women 6-0 Jamaica Women, 21.00 Sunday 2nd June, 2024 Philadelphia Union 1-1 CF Montreal, 00.30 LA FC 2-2 FC Dallas, 03.00 Gent 1-1 Genk, 12.30 Metz 0-1 St Etienne, 16.00 Atalanta 2-0 Fiorentina, 17.00 Vasco 1-1 Flamengo, 20.00
  19. Wha? This is as weird an appointment as Rooney going to Plymouth. Maresca won the Championship, but Leicester were more or less favourites to win it regardless. Pretty much @Stan and @Dan questioned his tactics a few times during the season as well.
