Wrexham v Notts County. 2nd v 1st. Both on 100pts. Wrexham with a game in hand mind. Probably the biggest game outside the Premier League including playoff finals, for years I'd say. Monumental. I shall be watching.

I think the forum will get back to what it was when Discord is tidied up and the main topics of discussion are filtered back onto here. The problem right now is we have so many duplicate threads across both formats that it doesn't encourage everyone to post in one place. Personally, I think both can co-exist fine. The Discord probably just needs to be streamlined so its primary use is for things that require instant messaging like Mafia Wars, Quizes, Football watch alongs, Pub off topic, Mental Health (which is nice as it remains private) etc, whilst the forum takes emphasis for the more thought provoking Football opinions and other stuff.

The brand of cricket that we play in Test format now, we'll always be at risk of losing as much as we win, but I'm fine with that. We're on the right path. It was a poor start to the 2nd innings that cost us ultimately. Nearly dug ourselves out the hole but credit to the Kiwi's. It's not like we've ever robbed them of a win is it...

Knock at the Cabin I've watched most M Night Shyamalan films and I'd say there's about a 50/50 split to which one's I've enjoyed and which one's I haven't. I liked the premise of this one and was hoping they would execute it really well. And to be fair, it starts off really strong, especially in the opening scene which is great but unfortunately, it doesn't quite manage to continue at that level. Strangely, I actually thought the film was missing a few twists which is a bit unusual for a Shyamalan movie, he usually contains a few but this felt way too predictable unfortunately. Credit to Dave Bautista actually whose character was by far my favourite and he delivered an excellent performance. It's a strong 6/10 for me. I've since read online that the book this was based on was by far superior so I might give it a read because the idea of the film and moral dilemma's around it I did find fascinating.

Krakow was a lovely clean city, stunning architecture, and I was impressed with how cheap Food and Drink was. You cannot go wrong. The Zakopane and Chocolowska region near the Tatra mountains was stunning, and actually a bit of a unknown hidden treasure to a lot of tourists. I couldn't recommend it enough.

From an entirely selfish point of view, I have to be totally honest and say this is ideal for the rest of us battling with Everton to survive. For me, if they take a battering in both the Arsenal and Liverpool games, I'll feel better about our away game there next. Might just knock the stuffing out of them if the new bounce doesn't happen.

Jesus fucking christ. That's appalling mismanagement how that's been allowed to happen. No wonder that Thirwell's hands are so tied. I mean, I can relate to this so much, seen it all with Leeds and our various shithouse owners so I can only sympathise. But the realist in me sees this getting worse before it gets better like yourselves. The situation looks bleak, I mean, if they did want to sell the club, they have made it a very unattractive proposition on those stats alone. This feels like having to buy a big fixer upper house knowing you got to gut the lot and rebuild the foundations to make it a real asset. I think there are buyers out there that would snap up Everton and take on that challenge but they aren't going to pay whatever Moshiri quotes and he won't let it go for peanuts either.

That would back up the board publically stating they wish to seek extra funding without selling to someone else. Something feels very off behind your scenes. The threat of FFP, the Stadium costs, losing big players and not replacing them with the similar quality, it's very concerning I think. I wonder just how bad financially Everton are in.

Easy to see why Bielsa wouldn't take the job on presently. Absolute shambles. I'd be panicking as an Everton fan if the window passes with no further late additions. They needed strengthening as much as us. What it proves is that the Gordon money is probably funding the stadium, it's really strangling them unfortuantely.

You're correct, it's not and I got to be honest, it's not something I know a lot about. Just been googling some of it out of curiosity and it looks truly shocking. I had no idea so many were killed. If I'm ever that way, I probably would see that. I see there is a film The Killing Fields, available to watch free on Prime so I'm going to get on that soon so cheers cor bringing that to my attention.

I'm not sure if the schools here in England do, but if they don't, and I'm sure most do not, they really really should. If I had a son or daughter, I'd 100% encourage them to see this when I felt they were old enough.

Not sure if this feels inappropriate or not but I was taken away on a surprise weekend away to Krakow. Really great time. Would recommend. I've got to say though, Auschwitz...wow. That will stick with me for life now. Never seen anything like that before, and whilst it was incredibly harrowing, I felt completely vindicated in going. On a side note, I would actually say that it would be amazing if all middle schools could arrange to take their students over and see something like this. Too many kids are entirely influenced by Social Media, at an age (13-16) where they are thinking their little gangsta's, and show little respect for those around them and have no concept as to what these people went through. You can read all the books in the world and see videos but when you go there in the flesh, it's a different kettle of fish. Sorry, completely digressed. Here's a few I took from Auschwitz anyway. If anyone's ever thought of going and had doubts, I'd just go. In a weird way, you'll be glad you did.

Drameh went to Cardiff in January last year on loan and it really benefitted him massively. I think in his short time there he won their Youth Player of the Season award. He's found it tough this season because we bought Rasmus Kristensen and then more recently, Luke Ayling has forced his way back in the team so chances have been limited. I feel for him in that respect. Going somewhere like Luton will be a great move for Cody, he's definitely got talent and I think he has a future here, but it's all part of developing and playing for a progressive side will bribg the beat out of him. Good signing for Luton too because James Bree is an absolute mainstay in that team.

He can play there, he's done it for us before, infact on Sunday just gone. One of the best facets of his game is he's two-footed. Good on his right as he is with his left, and he can play centrally too so he's very versatile, any position across the front three behind the striker. But I agree, I'd be disappointed if I was in your position looking at players like Jack who isn't necessarily first choice for us anymore. You could get better abroad for less no doubt. I'd probably sell him given the emergence of Gnonto, Summerville stepping up from the U23's and Sinisterra being our best winger when fit anyway. Ideally, Newcastle would come back in for him and that would be good business for us.
