Some of the comments included "clearly a job for the flying squid" and "arrested for ink drivng?" The car lost control and went into a squid ? Lost: Giant Octopus. Last seen around the South Milton area, Kingsbridge. Much loved family pet. Approachable(unless you're a crab) Responds to the name of John. The octopus held its hands up as it didn't have a leg to stand on!!! https://www.piratefm.co.uk/news/latest-news/2800135/crash-driver-claimed-he-swerved-to-avoid-octopus/

    This wasn't you was it?
  6. The BBC Football webpage and Wikipedia must be wrong then? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/46697366 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robinho
  7. Aye, I guessed that these X-Box and PlayStation things to me are a no-goer with my fat fingers, I've watched our son, daughter & grandsons playing games on it and I am just Could never sit for hours on end with them things, old age I guess but we had nothing like that when I was a wee nipper, I can remember when we got our first b/w tv set when I was about 4 years old and my mum said I was just staring at it with my jaw dropped and wide eyes, she said I stood up and started to look at the back of the tv and she asked me what was I looking for and I said "I am looking for the door the people got into this thing"
  8. The good thing nowadays with me and the wife is our two eldest grandsons (11&12) we tend to give them money instead of prezzies because they can then pick what they have been after for a while, the X-Box thing was a black Friday deal so I grabbed it, with our other grandson Kaiden who is only 5+ it's easier to pick prezzies for him, anything to do with Spiderman, Starwar toys never go amiss, but the wife will always give them clothes for Christmas, Birthdays etc with some dosh.
  9. Cheers, I have edited and corrected my original post, Italy I mean, fucked if I know why I put Argentina than Italy?
  10. England won 32-20 and, Scotland was playing ok with about 15 to go and then let Argentina back into it with 2 tries and they (Scotland) were lucky Argentina Italy never converted the kicks and only ended up with 3 points a try (6 points) instead of 10. Scotland has 2 hard matches away in France & England and has Ireland & Wales at home and Ireland will be baying for blood next week after losing to England today. Edit: Italy, not Argentina, thanks @Gunnersauraus for spotting that.
  11. The 6 Nations 2019 has started and so far I have managed to see Wales (2nd half) come back against France at the Stade de France and winning 19-24 and then watching Scotland v Italy at Murrayfield and Scotland winning 33-20, one thing about Rugby Union is the wife loves watching it also and was screaming in my bloody ear every time Scotland scored a try!!

Aye, the last tax rebate I had I got that through my works wages and a letter beforehand telling me such, yet you still get people opening up email attachments and then go and give all their bank details etc, lunatics, I read about 2 weeks ago that a couple did that (tv licence scam) gave all their bank details thinking they were claiming a rebate and then got ripped off.

I like reporting them though as they get fined, the biggest sinners are the likes of Car Phone Warehouse and Barcley's Bank etc as they get fined thousands for continuous spam and silent calls, if the phone or mobile rings we won't answer if we don't recognize the number and do what you do and ignore the call then I get all the details after who called, check the number on Google and if it is a spammer then I will report them.

Lol, I put a mate of mine from changing nappies when I found out he was a dad and said "Congratulations, buddy, I hope you enjoy changing nappies with shite that looks like stewed sausages in gravy", he called me a bastard and said that put him off eating sausages in gravy.

I never open or 'click' any attachments the tv licence bit and tax refunds I get them all the time, MSN had a blocking facility in their email folder once upon a time where you could block any emails from being sent but that was useless as all they do is come back under another email address, I get a lot of this Viagra spam and even if I block them they come back under another email address. If I get a load of telephone calls or text messages (Spam) or silent calls all I do then is report them to Ofcom, TPS or ICO and that helps a lot, you have to join them though and give all your private details.

The shit you get, I have been getting this in my junk email, I never 'clicked to open...' at the bottom but found out the company in Google and the phone number of E-On Energy and got through to customer service and asked them I am calling in Ref to a refund you say you owe me of £576 you sent to my email address and could you send it out to me by cheque, the guy asked for my account number and I said I don't have one as my supplier was not E-On Energy. It was dead quiet for a few seconds and he said: "Err...just ignore the email" and all I said was how did you get my bloody email address and hung up!! I will wait again now and see if I get another email.
