  1. Saltburn - Good film but slightly overhyped and at times unnecessarily weird. 7.5/10
  2. Defensively we've been solid all season. Saliba gets a lot of credit but I think Gabriel might be playing better than him this season.
  3. The main issue is that the loss limit is outdated. £105m in 2015 is not the same as £105m right now in football. Transfer fees for players went up significantly in that time. Diaby on his own cost Aston Villa over £50m.
  4. Aston Villa report £119.6m loss for 22-23 season - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68476722 Could be in trouble soon.
  5. Everyone thought Luton would be the promoted side that would struggle the most but they're at least being competitive. Burnley & Sheffield United have been pretty pointless.
  6. I thought I was safe when I saw Getafe go 2-0 up.
  7. IDF Nazis murder 100 Palestinians waiting for aid. What great liberators of the Palestinian people...
  8. Brentford 2-1 Chelsea Everton 1-1 West Ham Fulham 2-3 Brighton Newcastle 2-1 Wolves Nottm Forest 1-3 Liverpool Tottenham 2-0 Crystal Palace Luton 2-2 Aston Villa, 17.30 Burnley 1-0 Bournemouth, 13.00 Man City 3-1 Man Utd, 15.30 Sheff Utd 1-3 Arsenal, 20.00
  9. Betting on Chelsea really is a headache.
  10. The irony... Your posts trying to paint Israel as massive victims is embarrassing. Talking about how Nazi Israel shouldn't "stoop to their level". Suggesting they're being targeted randomly for being Jewish is the only thing pro-Israelis can hide behind but anyone that looks at the situation knows that's not true. Killing and oppressing endless amounts of Palestinians over decades and now seeing and taking the opportunity to commit genocide isn't "Jews standing up for themselves". It's a violent nationalist movement gone wild. Parroting the right wing, Islamaphobic, tactic of suggesting anyone that is against Israel committing a genocide must be an "Islamist" isn't gonna convince any decent minded person. It just acts as a dog whistle for bigots that want an excuse to be bigots. Imagine trying to dismiss anyone that was against the Nazis by calling them "Jew lovers". That's the type of person you're being right now. Israel will most likely get what they want simply because they have the means and the support and face very little pushback. They're not fighting against the odds like you're trying to make out. They're a powerful, violent, scumbag nation pressing home their advantage to complete a genocide. Fuck Nazi Israel.
  11. Freiburg 0-3 Bayern Union 1-3 Dortmund Mainz 1-1 Gladbach Bochum 0-2 Leipzig Heidenheim 2-2 Frankfurt Darmstadt 1-1 Augsburg Wolfsburg 1-2 Stuttgart Köln 0-2 Leverkusen Hoffenheim 1-0 Bremen
  12. Newcastle defence made a mess of that after Karius' save.
  13. I do wonder how much him being drunk was taken into consideration as a mitigating circumstance. Opens up a wider discussion on how accountable a person is when they're drunk and how much that reflects on the "real" sober person. Him being one of football's greats probably isn't something that should be taken into consideration but can't say that it wasn't. Would've been honoured, revered and spoken about positively for the rest of his life. Ruined his legacy for a crazy night out.
  14. Had possession but didn't do much with it. Not only did we fail to trouble their keeper but didn't think we troubled their defence that much. Pepe, however old and however much of a prick he is, still reads the game very well. Porto themselves really didn't have many opportunities either but they definitely had more than us and did better with their plan to attack on the break. When it looked like it was gonna end 0-0, I thought it was an okay result as it could've been worse. Then it did get worse. A shot that didn't belong in this game because it looked like no one knew how to shoot. Hopefully we're a lot better in the 2nd leg.
  15. Aston Villa 2-1 Nottm Forest Brighton 3-1 Everton Crystal Palace 1-1 Burnley Man Utd 2-0 Fulham Bournemouth 1-3 Man City, 17.30 Arsenal 2-1 Newcastle, 20.00 Wolves 2-0 Sheff Utd, 13.30 West Ham 2-2 Brentford, 20.00

  17. What's the most amount of goals a player has scored without winning a trophy?
  18. Easy win for us but Burnley seem like they accepted they're going down a long time ago. Hopefully Chelsea can hang on against Man City now.
