Administrator Stan Posted June 15, 2017 Administrator Share Posted June 15, 2017 Kohli is on another level though. The simplicity he plays his shots with has to be admired.
Asura
Bangladesh is becoming a favourite bunny for India. Absolutely despise them and infact I hate them a lot more than Pakistan at this moment. They are so childish and their fans are absolute cunts, especially on social media. Cant imagine the scenes if they really win something big in the coming few years lol
IgnisExcubitor
That was too easy. Bangladesh, it seemed to me, were overawed by the occasion. They have some good players and are developing well as a cricketing nation, so future is bright for them. Also, there are few batsmen out there, whose batting style is as beautiful as Rohit's. He is such a joy to watch with his lazy elegance. Sunday is going to be absolute madness. On a side note, read somewhere that Ireland and Afghanistan might be presented with Test status on 22nd. I hope it happens. It's the only way they can play more matches. Both those sides, esp Afghanistan, have showed tremendous potential. It will be shame if that is wasted. And if they get the approval, then I hope ICC shows patience with them. Look at Bangladesh. They took a lot of time to improve, but look at them now. Im already pretty stoked for the match and I will be honest Im not really following cricket much in the last few years when the IPL and T20 madness grew but this one is going to be one hell of an encounter so I will be watching live. Devil-Dick Willie
Wicket, no ball! Such poor discipline.
Administrator Stan Posted June 18, 2017 Administrator Share Posted June 18, 2017 First bit of excitement there. Hate when any player bowls a no-ball in that manner. It's like a foul throw in football. You should know your mark!
Administrator Stan Posted June 18, 2017 Administrator Share Posted June 18, 2017 these 2 openers getting a bit fortunate here. Inside edge just misses the stumps. Top edge goes through slip for four. Pressure was on in first 4 overs and we didn't take advantage.

Especially at the death as the Sky presenters mentioned before the game. He's improved so much over the years. He used to be just another bowler to use, but he's become one of the top bowlers for India in the past year.
Devil-Dick Willie
That subcontinental lack of fielding ability is killing India here, another solid run out chance goes begging.
Administrator Stan Posted June 18, 2017 Administrator Share Posted June 18, 2017 yep, one of these throws has to hit one day. interesting you mention subcontinental lack of fielding ability. For the past 3-4 years India have been labelled as one of the best teams for fielders. Historically we've been dogshit but not so much recently. Devil-Dick Willie
India hit the stumps!!! After a bad fumble, so no wicket anyway.
Azeem
On this subcontinental lack of fielding ability, this is something beyond cricket it has to with subcontinental nations being underdeveloped. Countries like SA,Australia and England well their players get all the facilities during their early years like swimming, gym, athletics etc under proper guidance their schools public or private have proper system for sports thus this helps them to become good athelets in their professional career. Unlike us where only rich kids can afford these facilities.

Devil-Dick Willie
Fakhar has fucked his team over so badly. Wow. Game on. Just now, Stan said: Brilliant fielding by Bumrah!!! Nope Just a run out all day. He could have put the kettle on, and both batsman would be at the same end. Ali wasn't even in that half of the pitch when Dhoni took the stumps off. Decent stop but nothing notable at all about the fielding. Just a retard non striker.

IgnisExcubitor
Fakhar was lucky initially, but has been brilliant otherwise. Ashwin has been a huge disappointment. Bowling a terribly negative line despite being a senior bowler meant to take wickets. We would have been better served playing one of Yadav or Shami instead. Need to chuck the ball to Yuvi or Jadhav.
Administrator Stan Posted June 18, 2017 Administrator Share Posted June 18, 2017 surprised Jadhav hasn't been given the ball yet. He was a big game-changer against Bangladesh. Gotta have faith in him because Jadeja and Ashwin are getting lazy and not even getting close to wickets.
