Eco Posted March 12, 2020 Posted March 12, 2020 Serious question - if they don't cancel this race, what kind of backlash should outlets like Sky and Telegraph receive for saying that it is in fact, cancelled?

Well they just reporting what they hear from their sources... FIA/F1/Liberty Media and others in charge are the ones who should receive all the backlash.
Eco Posted March 12, 2020 Posted March 12, 2020 Unreal how FP1 is about to begin and still there is no communication.

There won't be one. Very rarely ever is whenever media/journalists get things wrong.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted March 12, 2020 Subscriber Posted March 12, 2020 Oh F1, it's been so long since we've been here. Things have been relatively well behaved for a few years since racing in Bahrain during the civil war.
Eco Posted March 12, 2020 Posted March 12, 2020 ESPN is going to be scraping for content if this gets postponed or cancelled. All sports here are on hold, and now this.
nudge Posted March 12, 2020 Author Posted March 12, 2020 Seb and Kimi have reportedly flown back home already.
Administrator Stan Posted March 12, 2020 Administrator Posted March 12, 2020 It's definitely off then if drivers are going back home already
nudge Posted March 12, 2020 Author Posted March 12, 2020 Imagine if the race goes on with six teams present. Williams could be in the points!
Moderator Tommy Posted March 12, 2020 Moderator Posted March 12, 2020 Wehrlein will replace Vettel, and Kubica will replace Kimi! Hype?! It really is a mess.

Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted March 12, 2020 Subscriber Posted March 12, 2020 Just call it off you utter twats. We are well past the point of it being worthwhile to force it through. Nobody is going to remember this positively in any way if we end up with a race of 10 cars or force all 9 remaining teams to race.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted March 12, 2020 Subscriber Posted March 12, 2020 On a positive note, /r/formuladank is going to be very amusing after this.
