At least he can leave with his head held up high knowing he came in and left the club in a better place than before he had the job. I think he and Arteta have done a great job rebuilding Arsenal into being a competitor again. Whoever replaces him has big shoes to fill imo. Quote
6666 Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 Saka out with a hamstring injury. We are fucked. First Odegaard gets injured for a while, now Saka. This is not our season. Sterling has not been that good so far either. Thank God it's just a loan. We're gonna need a younger winger come the summer anyway, might as well look at bringing in someone in January. Been rumours of a £50m agreement for Moleiro of Las Palmas but not from reliable sources so far. Quote

Just seemed like you were hitting your stride again with Odegaard's return. Now seems like you'll struggle through until Saka's return. Who plays in his absence? Quote

Sterling was a good player, but I think nowadays he's not the same player he was at his best with City. Quote
Gooner Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 It's really bad news for us with Saka being out injured. Trossard looks set to be the one to replace him, unless we change formation. Sterling is also injured and seems like he will be out for at least a few weeks. It's come in the period of the season that we could do without this with the amount of games in quick succession, but will just have to find a way to deal with it best we can. Quote
