Was our head to head with Brighton seriously worse than them before they came up? xD That's slightly embarrassing. All I know is since they've come up they've barely laid a glove on us. 4 wins for us and a draw.

We really should be winning this. Fail to and I think we're putting ourselves under a lot of pressure, and our ability to deal with that pressure seems to be really lacking.

When are you ever convinced xD

Are you genuinely happy with that XI? The start has been poor as well. I just can't really work it out.

It's not what I expected but I'm willing to have some faith in it.

Having seen the start, it's quite sluggish and slow. Not started at all yet.

I'm happy enough with Iheanacho coming in but Mendy & Gray shouldn't be starting for me, Barnes is better starting than Gray is, and is Praet injured or what?

Genuinely couldn't tell you our formation.

Sluggish start. We've got away with this so far. We are so much better than this.

Barnes is better than Gray but in this shape I'm not sure it would work.

Praet missed Saturday due to a knock so I'd presume not fully fit.

4-3-1-2 with Gray providing width on one side. Bit imbalanced. Just hoping Vardy and Iheanacho click as I'm glad he's come in.

That was just a terrible half from us. Worth remembering we're probably still not going to be at our sharpest, but it doesn't fully excuse this. I cannot see any plan at all here. Barnes may have struggled at Watford but he was in good form before the break, just keep going, he's not going to smash it every single game. Maddison out wide we know doesn't work. I think individually a few have struggled, both full backs have been poor (Justin in particular) but this is on Rodgers for me so far, it's just baffling what we're trying to do.

The only good thing is we've got through that without falling behind. Hopefully something switches at half time because we've been truly awful.

Gotta bring on Barnes or Perez. Might actually be able let Maddison move to the middle and do what he's best at doing, and therefore help out Vardy and Kelechi. Give us some proper width both sides of the pitch as well.

Their RB Lamptey seems decent. Should test him as so far he's had it easy.

That's Tariq Aubameyang in my pocket Lamptey to you sir.

We're going to blow it. I'm absolutely convinced we are.

1. Liverpool
2. Man City
3. Chelsea
4. Manchester United

We've been absolutely crap since December and we've not got a nice run in.

I honestly think it'll come down to the last day, yourselves v Man United

Chelsea vs Wolves that day too. Could be a lot of change in those positions.

I caught the 2nd half so cannot judge the full game.

Brighton are a tough nut to crack when they sit in like that. Very well organised. Leicester never laid a glove on them to be frank and unfortunately to me, it all looked rather predictable. Perhaps you need a bit more variety in situations like that.

On the handball, I think you have to say that's reaching a bit. Very harsh had it been given and you'd be gutted to concede one like that.

On the plus side, whilst the run in does look tough, I think there's every reason to still be optimistic as they won't all sit in like that. They will come at you and you have always been a better counter attacking team.
