nudge Posted September 22, 2020 Posted September 22, 2020 Alesi replaces Matsushita in MP Motorsport, Jake Hughes takes Alesi's seat at HWA.
Eco Posted September 25, 2020 Author Posted September 25, 2020 Robert needs to up his game...he has fallen off in recent weeks. Happy for Tsunoda.
nudge Posted September 25, 2020 Posted September 25, 2020 Daruvala in P2 is quite a surprise... Good starting position for Mick.
DeadLinesman Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 Big pile up as well. Why do the pits always look so disorganised in F2?
AMG Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 Kind of surprised how Daruvala has just lost 1 position so far.
Moderator Tommy Posted September 26, 2020 Moderator Posted September 26, 2020 YES!!!!!!!!!! Mick in the lead. What a move!
Moderator Tommy Posted September 26, 2020 Moderator Posted September 26, 2020 Just now, AMG said: Yes!! Tsunoda dropping like no tomorrow. You don't like Japanese people? He's on P3. Not really dropping like no tomorrow.

AMG Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 Schwartzman's got to be doing better than thaat, if he has to get that Haas seat.
Moderator Tommy Posted September 26, 2020 Moderator Posted September 26, 2020 Yea, Robert, please keep that Ticktum cunt out of the points. edit: Fuck.
AMG Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 He'll finish 3rd, though. Ghiotto's shit. Cant even get on Yuki's tail.
Moderator Tommy Posted September 26, 2020 Moderator Posted September 26, 2020 WHAT A MOVE BY TSUNODA! Back on P2. Suck it @AMG
Moderator Tommy Posted September 26, 2020 Moderator Posted September 26, 2020 That's an awful lot of typing for someone who should SUCK IT!
nudge Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 A fantastic win for Mick. His performances in F2 are starting to perfectly mirror the ones in F3 - struggle the first year, start the second season better but still not completely convincing, then at some point it all clicks and he starts winning. Very happy for him, it's good to see him shutting up those who always claimed he's only there because of his name and not on merit.
Moderator Tommy Posted September 26, 2020 Moderator Posted September 26, 2020 46 minutes ago, AMG said: Okay, I'll suck it and leave Or just admit that Tsunoda is a good driver, and nobody has to suck anything. Man, when Mick stood on top of that podium today, I was smiling from ear to ear and felt proud like he was my son or something.
nudge Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 This is the most ridiculous penalty I've ever heard of. Quote Competitor PREMA Racing Fact The Team Principal was seen on the host broadcast allegedly directing team personnel prior to the start of the mandatory pit stop procedure. Decision Fine of 10,000 Euros Reason The Stewards examined video evidence. They summoned and heard the Team Manager & Team Principal (document 21). Having considered the matter extensively, the Stewards determined that the Team Principal, who was not included in the list of Operational Personnel submitted in accordance with the 2020 F2 Sporting Regulations Article 21.5, was seen gesturing from the pit wall to team personnel in the pit lane prior to the arrival of Car 20 for its mandatory pit stop. The team reported that Car 21 was expected to be first to come in, however, Car 20 entered the pit lane first. The Stewards carefully analysed the host TV broadcast footage and the footage of the pit lane camera focused on the team’s pit box. It is clear to the Stewards that the change in tyre strategy (replacing Car 21’s tyres with Car 20’s) had already been initiated by the Team Manager by radio and the pit stop personnel were already in the process of changing the tyres before the Team Principal started gesturing towards the pit lane. The Stewards also note that although the Team Principal had a radio headset on, at no point during this incident did he key the radio to transmit on it. The Stewards also consider it highly unlikely, given the ambient noise levels in a racing pit lane, that the mechanics in pit lane, with headsets on, could understand anything the Team Principal was saying without radio communications. For these reasons, the Stewards find that the Team Principal’s actions had no impact on the operation of the team, the cars, or the pit stop and, therefore, did not breach the operational personnel limitations of the 2020 F2 Sporting Regulations Article 21.5. However, as the Team Principal’s actions could be misconstrued under the circumstances, by someone without access to the appropriate camera angles and footage, as giving the appearance of operational direction, the Stewards find the Team Principal committed an act prejudicial to the competition and, therefore, breached Article 12.1.1.c of the 2020 FIA International Sporting Code. He is hereby penalised for that conduct. Four teams are now set to appeal Mick's win because of Prema team boss "frantically gesticulating to his mechanics" https://www.autosport.com/f2/news/152448/four-teams-set-to-appeal-against-schumacher-sochi-win
nudge Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 Another great start by Mick, as he makes up 4 positions. Up to 3rd now...
nudge Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 Red flag! There's a big crash as Ghiotto and Aitken fight für position. Both go straight into the barriers...
