Sean Gelael has been brought to hospital by ambulance straight from the racing track following the incident on the last lap :o  Very bizarre, there didn't appear to be any collision and his car looked fine, he simply parked the car and wasn't moving. Had to be extricated by the medical crew, it appears he fainted. Likely due to heat/dehydration; hopefully he's alright!

Just saw the incident on youtube. Definitely looked like a heatstroke or something. Hope he's ok.

Yeah, his head just leans on the headrest and doesn't move at all... :/ Fortunately he managed to park the car before passing out (if that's indeed the case) instead of going into the barriers or something...

No news so far, but FIA's statement said he was taken to the hospital for precautionary checks, so hopefully it's nothing too serious.

Not a heatstroke, after all - just read that according to Gelael's father, he's got a fracture in his mid-back, will be out for at least 2 weeks :o

Gelael will be out for at least 6 weeks :( sucks for him, will miss most of the remaining season, it seems.

Will be interesting to see who replaces him at DAMS. Hope it's Vips...

As heartbreaking as it is, I think those moments should stay private... Hate them being plastered all over the media.

Well - good practice there from Robert. Would be nice if he is able to get on the front row tomorrow.

Yeah..I just turned it on...what the hell is going on? Back-to-back Red Flags?

Yeah... First Samaia's car was on fire, then once everyone was out on the track again, it seems they noticed that one of the armco barriers was still broken.

And HWA seems to have massive issues leaving the pit lane xD

SPA looks like one of the most beautiful scenes in F1/F2...that area looks absolutely stunning...

Even more impressive in real life.
