Dias for player of the year?

Arguably.

Definitely made a world of difference to Man City's defence. He's the defender Man City expected Stones & Laporte to be instantly when they were signed. Dias has come in and made an immediate impact but also seems to have bettered the players next to him.

West Ham had a golden chance to equalise with the last attack of the game just then. Diop should have scored.

From a Leicester point of view, there's no chance of the title so glad West Ham have lost today.

In the last 16 games, Dias and Stones scored more goals than they "conceded".

From what I've seen, armband or no armband, Dias has been carrying himself like the captain ever since joining.

Thinking of it... the two Portuguese players with more leadership qualities both joined the PL last season.

It bodes very well for you guys this summer. This team looks inferior to the one that won Euro 2016 on paper to an outsider like myself.
