  • The title was changed to Paul Cook Confirmed as New Ipswich Manager

I think it's a very good appointment. He comes across as passionate, enthusiastic and intelligent. They seem to have a lot of players at Ipswich that can improve so it will be interesting to see where they will be in a couple of years time.

Paul Cook might be feeling the heat soon.

Played 5, no wins so far. Losing 3-2 at home to Bolton at HT and the club has spent big in the summer to bring in a lot of quality.

Going to be one to keep an eye on I think.

Lost 5-2!

Ipswich fans will be going nuts. Firmly in the relegation zone, no wins in 6.

Some of there fans were calling themselves the Man City of League One before the season started.

It's been a pretty mental overhaul this summer but they've signed some very good players at that level. I'm not sure why it hasn't clicked at all.

Hopefully the win last night will act as a catalyst for Paul Cook.

I've actually been keeping an eye on them as I had them down on a pre season bet to get promoted.

It's the defence. They are conceding on average 2 a game which means most the time, they have needed 3 goals to win a game. Tough ask.

Personally from what I gather, going forward they look fine, defensively their confidence seems to go when they concede which makes sense seeing as they have dropped points when leading in 4 of the 7 games.

Once they stabilise that area, i would fancy them to kick on.
