Dave Posted April 2, 2021 Posted April 2, 2021 Should learn a lot from this game in regards to what these teams are likely to be like from now until the end of the season.
Subscriber Dan+ Posted April 3, 2021 Subscriber Posted April 3, 2021 I've got a feeling we're gonna win this. Schmeichel Fofana - Evans - Amartey Albrighton - Tielemans - Ndidi - Castagne Perez Iheanacho - Vardy
Subscriber Dan+ Posted April 3, 2021 Subscriber Posted April 3, 2021 I've no idea why it's come out like that but that's our team.
Administrator Stan Posted April 3, 2021 Author Administrator Posted April 3, 2021 Soyuncu out due to having to isolate after a Turkish team mate tested positive. Another reason the internationals shouldn't have happened now.

Pep's gone more defensive ...today's team Ederson Walker - Dias - Laporte - Mendy Fernandihno - Rodrigo Mahrez - De Bruyne - Jesus Aguero

Would have thought Silva or Sterling would start at least. Jesus scoring on Easter weekend is bound to happen...

It's a surprising line up, Mendy instead of Cancelo, Dinho instead of Gundogan and Jesus instead of Sterling, Pep must have sun stroke! ..he can play anywhere in the 3 but for me he's not an out and out striker, this is probably his better position today
Administrator Stan Posted April 3, 2021 Author Administrator Posted April 3, 2021 I think Mahrez scored early back in Sept... We'll see what happens!
Happy Blue Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 1-0 long range strike from Fernandinho ..chalked off, Aguero blocking keepers view
Administrator Stan Posted April 3, 2021 Author Administrator Posted April 3, 2021 Aguero in the way! Lucky there. Shit clearance, good strike. 0-0!

After a long wait and a good run in the side we're seeing the benefits. He loves it here based on his comments having signed a new contract. Gets a lot of support and I think people respect he's been patient and not thrown a strop when not playing. Clearly got the talent and finishing ability but I think he's a confidence player. Some of his goals recently like the one against Burnley and his movement for some of the goals show that he is sharp and has the eye for goal. I hope he continues til the end of the season but he definitely does need to play in a 2. Works better for him and the side if he has a strike partner.

Glad he's finally showing you what he can do, he was brilliant for us at times and still surprised we sold him
Administrator Stan Posted April 3, 2021 Author Administrator Posted April 3, 2021 How was that a free kick De Bruyne shanks a shot, falls over and ref buys it?!
Happy Blue Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 24mins 0% possession for Leicester that has to be wrong, must be a least 1%

MUFC Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 Clear booking for Ndidi but Fernando the persistent fouler stop s a break away, holds his face and escapes a booking.
Subscriber Dan+ Posted April 3, 2021 Subscriber Posted April 3, 2021 Ndidi only got booked for an accumulation, which is a nonsense in itself because the earlier fouls were complete bullshit decisions from Taylor anyway. I'm happy enough to go in at 0-0, do think we miss Barnes a lot in a game like this though.
Dave Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 The fact Anthony Taylor is involved in this game is enough evidence that any young referee coming in to the football league now can be a Premier League referee in the next year.
Dave Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 Honestly, since 2014 I wouldn't have trusted Anthony Taylor to make a sandwich. How in 2021 is he involved in such a high profile game.
