"Emilio Ballack, 18, was driving the vehicle on land owned by his father in Tróia, a peninsula about an hour south of Lisbon, local media reported. The accident took place just after 2am and firefighters tried to save him but he was declared dead at the scene.

Portuguese media reported the teenager had been riding on an uneven piece of land near the Ballack family home, when the bike rolled backwards and fell on top of him."

Terrible news and so sad to see someone so young pass away.
