Moderator Tommy Posted December 29, 2021 Moderator Posted December 29, 2021 Not extending his contract.
Subscriber Viva la FCB+ Posted December 29, 2021 Subscriber Posted December 29, 2021 He will have no shortage of interest, tough losses for Gladbach with the likelihood of Zakaria walking as well. Been rumoured we're interested in Ginter but I would imagine that hinges on what Süleinho decides to do as well.
Moderator Tommy Posted December 29, 2021 Author Moderator Posted December 29, 2021 Zakaria confirmed now too.
Moderator Tommy Posted January 30, 2022 Author Moderator Posted January 30, 2022 Gladbach have reached an agreement with Juventus for Denis Zakaria. Apparently Juve will present him as a new signing tomorrow.
Subscriber Coma+ Posted January 31, 2022 Subscriber Posted January 31, 2022 Fast forward to a year from now when Zakaria is riding the bench because he can't get in the team. Take the money and run, Denis.
Subscriber Viva la FCB+ Posted January 31, 2022 Subscriber Posted January 31, 2022 Good for Gladbach anyways to get some money for him.
Moderator Tommy Posted May 2, 2022 Author Moderator Posted May 2, 2022 Oh wow, I did not see that coming. At least not yet. Freiburg is like a family place where everyone leaves for a while but eventually just wants to come home.

Seems like I underrated Freiburg's financial resources, if they're capable of signing an 28 years old national player leaving his former club on a free. Edit: Good signing , though.
