Only 1-1 against HSV. We were the better team, and HSV were pretty shit. We weren't great though. Scored the 1-0 towards the end of the game, and managed to conceed the equaliser in extra time AGAIN. So it's unfortunate and disappointing, but still a point is a point.

5 changes in the starting XI. Rapp & Jung replace Toprak & Friedl in CB, Mbom starts instead of Weiser, Schmidt replaces Bittencourt who tested positive today, and Dinkci starts upfront instead of Ducksch.

Don't think there are any points in this for us today.

Didn't expect anything, so 3 points is a very nice surprise!

Gjasula's red card definitely the game changer. Credit to Darmstadt for not giving up despite being a man down for most of the match; it could have easily ended in a draw. That said, if it wasn't for Schuhen, we would probably have won comfortably; some of the saves he pulled were world class. Then we also hit the post twice... Nervous match, but an extremely important win!

I heard the mighty Bobby Glatzel destroyed your hopes and dreams.

Two things I took away from the match: Dinkci needs to work on his shooting. Schmidt needs to stop shooting 😆

Definitely got bailed out by Gjasula's bone-head challenge but even good teams have to ride their luck sometimes.
