Cardiff City kick us off with a good signing from League Two in Forest Green's box-to-box midfielder Ebou Adams.

Don't know much about him, but heard he was one of Forest Green Rovers stand out players last season.

If he can bring the energy he says he has, that would be superb as we are in need of an engine in midfield (we are just far too slow in midfield).

We've apparently made a second signing. Jak Alnwick will join from St. Mirren on a free transfer.

Medical being completed for Ollie Tanner, a 20 year old playing for Lewes in the Isthmian League.

Apparently Spurs were looking at him, but he wanted first team football, which is..............ambitious, to say the least.

He'll apparently be in the first team for us rather than the under 23's. Let's hope he's as confident in making the huge step up.

Fair play, we need a fair amount of signings for numerous positions and we're starting nice and early for a change.

There fans don't seem that worried just because of how good recruitment has been previously.

Other than Adebayo they don't forsee others leaving and are optimistic he could go for "silly money". In all honesty I'm not sure what team he could go too.

The two sides that got business done early last season were Huddersfield and Luton. They both ended up making the playoffs.

Luton may be getting one of our youngsters in, Callum Wright. If it becomes a good move like it was for Dewsbury-Hall, then I'm for it. Had a very good season at Cheltenham this year.

He made a couple of appearances for us this season. One of the games he did alright (think it was a Cup game against Brighton?). Another game he looked completely out of his depth and struggled.

That doesn't fill me with a lot of confidence in fairness.

That'll likely see Phillips being sold, seeing as we have Allsop and Alnwick fighting for the number 1 jersey and Luthra as backup.

Tbf, we had about 10 out of contract this season, of which only 1 of them (Ralls) has been offered a new contract. With how things have been the last couple of years, we're trying to dramatically lower the wage bill and freshen up the squad. A bit like what Mackay had to do when he first joined us.

This will either be a masterstroke or we'll be in deep trouble this season.

That's a good signing. Even better if they can land his partner in midfield Rinomhota too.
