Moderator Tommy Posted February 7, 2023 Moderator Posted February 7, 2023 Darmstadt turn the game around within two minutes or so. WHAT IS HAPPENING?!
Faithcore Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 Thank god we got rid of Torsten Lieberknecht.
Rucksackfranzose Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 Frankfurt equalise. This match is entertaining.
Rucksackfranzose Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 We don't need VAR, if they don't intervene in such situations. Should have been a pen for Frankfurt here, in my honest opinion.
Moderator Tommy Posted February 7, 2023 Moderator Posted February 7, 2023 Frankfurt take the lead again. That was a fantastic goal to be fair.
Moderator Tommy Posted February 7, 2023 Moderator Posted February 7, 2023 Kolo Muani puts a lid on it. 4:2.
Rucksackfranzose Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 Match finishes 4-2, still hats off for Darmstadt, if they continue playing like that they'll be promoted.
Subscriber Coma+ Posted February 8, 2023 Subscriber Posted February 8, 2023 Didn't get to watch it, was the Frankfurt Darmstadt match hostile? Derby and all. I've read that those two don't like each other.

Rucksackfranzose Posted February 8, 2023 Posted February 8, 2023 Just learned next season the round of 16 will be played on 2 days again, while the quarterfinals will be played on 4 different days in 2 weeks. Hate how they mess around with this great competetion to create money. It's not likeDFB were poor either, many enterprise would love it, if they had to pay 46M Euros more on tax for three years than they expected.

Yea, it was very confusing that the DFB Pokal started again, but some of the fixtures were a week later. Annoying.
Moderator Tommy Posted February 8, 2023 Moderator Posted February 8, 2023 Both of our usual fullbacks, Zimmermann and Karbownik, are injured. So I'm looking forward to how they'll compensate that. Hopefully it's Tim Oberdorf's redemption day today. He made some awful mistakes last game that lead to Paderborn's goals.
Moderator Tommy Posted February 8, 2023 Moderator Posted February 8, 2023 Well fuck that. We weren't great, but better than Nürnberg. Wasted plenty of chances. Nürnberg had like one shot on goal in the 2nd half, and it was deflected and went in. Penalty shooutout. Our keeper saves a shot, but it has to be re-taken because he left the line too early apparently. It goes in, our 21 year old striker misses his penalty on his debut. Nürnberg wins. Fucking hell.
Rucksackfranzose Posted February 8, 2023 Posted February 8, 2023 Bochum equalise through a penalty. Bochum 1-1 Dortmund.
Rucksackfranzose Posted February 8, 2023 Posted February 8, 2023 Didn't last long, Reus scores. 2-1 Dortmund
Rucksackfranzose Posted February 8, 2023 Posted February 8, 2023 Looking, who qualified for the quarterfinals: Buli top 6: Bayern, Union, Dortmund, Leipzig, Frankfurt, Freiburg Another Buli club: Stuttgart And finally a 2.Liga club: Nürnberg Although I love an upset and/or underdog success as much as anybody else, perhaps even more so, have to admit that's nominally the strongest quarterfinals we've had for quite a while.
Rucksackfranzose Posted February 19, 2023 Posted February 19, 2023 The quarterfinals have been drawn: Leipzig - Dortmund Nürnberg - Stuttgart Frankfurt - Union Bayern - Freiburg Some good matches. Nice to see an underdog will go to the semis since Nürnberg play Stuttgart.

Subscriber Coma+ Posted February 20, 2023 Subscriber Posted February 20, 2023 Best draw possible for Stuttgart. Would have like to have seen Bayern play Leipzig though.
Rucksackfranzose Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 The games arescheduled: 4. April 2023 18 Uhr: Eintracht Frankfurt - Union Berlin (ZDF und "Sky") 20.45 Uhr: Bayern München - SC Freiburg (ARD und "Sky") 5. April 2023 18 Uhr: 1. FC Nürnberg - VfB Stuttgart ("Sky") 20.45 Uhr: RB Leipzig - Borussia Dortmund (ZDF und "Sky") Bit disappointing the only match featuring a 2.Liga team is the only game not shown on free TV. The station's choice is comprehensible, though.
Rucksackfranzose Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Bayern out of the cup is good for this competition. Now Dortmund need to win against gnat's piss and the race to win it is very much open. On a side note the cup is there for everybody to take anyway, still always satisfying if this perversion loses.
Subscriber Coma+ Posted April 5, 2023 Subscriber Posted April 5, 2023 It was nice to see Bayern brought down a notch after that Dortmund match.
