Smiley Culture Posted July 12, 2017 Posted July 12, 2017 There's some fantastic names in Scottish non-league Football. Burntisland Shipyard and Banks O'Dee two of the best.
ScoRoss Posted November 20, 2017 Author Posted November 20, 2017 Great pay days for Brechin City and Fraserburgh. But the tie of the round has got to be the Edinburgh derby.
Smiley Culture Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 The Edinburgh Derby is becoming like the Celtic v Aberdeen of this year, they're playing all the bloody time. Motherwell v Hamilton is a local derby as well I believe and a non-league side is guaranteed a spot in the next round in Cove or Formartine.
ScoRoss Posted December 8, 2017 Author Posted December 8, 2017 12:15, what kinda of kick off is that?!
Smiley Culture Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 Is Aberdeen v St Mirren the best tie out there? Arguably Motherwell v Hamilton is a better tie and I'd personally rather see Albion v St Johnstone, too.

Same last year when Aberdeen were at home to Partick and it was televised. Annoying to say the least, especially when the money that clubs get for being televised has been reduced. Expecting a dreadful crowd for the game now.
Administrator Stan Posted January 21, 2018 Administrator Posted January 21, 2018 Hearts vs Hibs about to kick off on Sky Sports Main Event.
Administrator Stan Posted January 21, 2018 Administrator Posted January 21, 2018 both teams should have scored by now. Naismith missed an open goal on his debut in the first few minutes. Boyle, for Hibs, should have tapped in from close range but hit it wide.
ScoRoss Posted January 21, 2018 Author Posted January 21, 2018 Hibs have looked the better team, but have lacked a focal point up front. Efe Ambrose is a danger to his own team at the best of times, but playing him at fullback is asking for trouble.
Administrator Stan Posted January 21, 2018 Administrator Posted January 21, 2018 what a finale. Fortunate goal for Hearts as a Berra header (flicked on by Cowie) is blocked on the line but the spin from that block takes it just over the line. 1-0 to Hearts!
Inverted Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 A good match in the sense of a lot was happening, but tbh the lack of control and end product was a bit silly at times. Naismith looked good considering the intensity of the match and his lack of games.
Administrator Stan Posted January 21, 2018 Administrator Posted January 21, 2018 disappointed the ref didn't hand out more cards. There were plenty of challenges deserving of bookings.

It seems a lot easier in English football to get a booking. I didn't think the referee was any more lenient than usual.

ScoRoss Posted January 21, 2018 Author Posted January 21, 2018 At least two lower league teams guaranteed to be in the Quarter Finals.
ScoRoss Posted March 4, 2018 Author Posted March 4, 2018 Huge incentive for the replay next week. Kilmarnock were the superior team yesterday and a massive improvement is required.
Administrator Stan Posted March 5, 2018 Administrator Posted March 5, 2018 do you fancy your chances against either of the Glasgow clubs should you beat Kilmarnock? @ScoRoss
