The played a very good tournament. Especially young Linda Caicedo! She's such a huge talent at only 18 years old. A not so fun but impressive fact: She had ovarian cancer at only 15 years old. Went through surgery and then chemo for 6 months and was even bedridden because of that for 3 months. She returned to playing football just a few days after her last chemo treatment. And this year she played three World Cups. U17, U20 and now the senior tournament.

They started so strong that I considered them to be the main contender for the title. But the matches against Nigeria and Colombia haven't been thoroughly convincing, to put it mildly.
