Subscriber CaaC (John)+ Posted June 26, 2023 Subscriber Posted June 26, 2023 R.I.P. Craig, you were one of the best Scottish managers we ever had.
ScoRoss Posted June 26, 2023 Posted June 26, 2023 I'm not sure that there was a more liked man in Scottish football. Had been an ambassador at Aberdeen for the last decade or so. And you couldn't have asked for a better man for the role. Heard so many stories about people bumping into him around the club, and was just a pleasure to be in the company of.
Michael Posted July 22, 2023 Posted July 22, 2023 I completely missed this sad piece of news. Craig Brown always came across as a real gentleman of the game. He achieved great success as the manager of the Scottish national team, most notably competing at the 1996 European Championships in England and he also lead them at the 1998 World Cup in France. I have great memories of those competitions as I watched them as a youngster. I remember Scotland's matches in both respective competitions very well. It's very sad to learn of his death. RIP Craig Brown
