I heard he was 'very unwell' in hospital, but when you don't hear anything more you just assume/hope no news is good news when it's somebody in there 50's. Because for a guy who was only 54, a former top level athlete and a person who looked in good shape/health, it's shocking that he's passed away at that relatively young age.
