Dave
FPL have done it. After making everybody feel cheap last year to appeal to casual players, and then lose those casual players after they lose transfers. They've upped the amount of transfers you can save to try and retain players whilst making the selection process more difficult for those more engaged players. Salah has the better fixtures, Haaland has had a summer to reboot. Salah is the best captain for gameweek 1 whilst Haaland is the best captain for gameweek 2. But putting them both in the same team causes a lot of sacrifices elsewhere. I think we will see a lot of differing strategies early on. Subscriber Dan+ Posted August 9 Subscriber Share Posted August 9 Salah always starts well and his fixtures are great. They've priced them correctly though as you have a fair case for all four outcomes. I'm holding off Palmer early doors. Not convinced he'll be quite as good under Maresca. Subscriber Dan+ Posted October 21 Subscriber Share Posted October 21 Honestly couldn't have done much worse this season. I've never seen such abysmal luck in my life. I've literally missed every Haaland goal and caught every blank. I generally play it properly but honestly I've had so much go against me already it feels like pissing in the wind this season. Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted October 21 Subscriber Share Posted October 21 I had a great start but the last two weeks have been naff for me. I wasn't expecting much from this weekend because my Arsenal and City players were all playing away games, Palmer was at Liverpool and my cheap Everton and Ipswich options were facing each other which is always awkward.
