Chelsea to win to nil at Leicester is 11/5 I think. Ridiculous.

The worst possible outcome of this is Chelsea win and Leicester score dead rubber consolation. Obviously that happened. Obviously.

£10 > £24.50

Southampton are woeful and I can't see them slowing Liverpool down at all. Didn't fancy anything from the Ipswich vs Man Utd match because I don't know what to expect from Amorim early days, so I've just gone for a straightforward Real Madrid win to take me over Evens.

@Dan will take £20 on this if allowed. If not just half it.

I've just seen Palmer's miss from the weekend.

If this isn't the definition of unlucky I don't know what is because everything else came in. Palmer's having shots from 1 yard out blocked by his own player ffs.

Very quiet week this week - even I completely forgot which I think is the first time ever. Two players, two losses, but no table moves. Think @CaaC (John) can consider himself very unlucky this week as Germany romped home (albeit at the shortest odds backed by anybody old season) and Turkey largely dominated, even missing an 89th minute penalty, but couldn't get the win.

@Stan landed the Poland Scotland cards, just, as the 40th and 50th booking points arrived in the 93rd and 95th minutes. However Serbia v Denmark was let down by a repeat of the Euros group game where it ended goalless. The booking points won at a canter, the corners also won.

image.thumb.png.3672176a0596a0e295a50748c9dab125.png

I know I bemoan bad luck in what feels like every week, but Leicester v Chelsea really has played out the most ridiculous game in terms of this league this week. One of those where so many bases were covered yet seemingly everybody got close but with no cigar.

I went for a more simple pick of Chelsea to win to nil. Anyone who watched the game knows that this is probably what ought to have played out - whether it's the Ndidi non red card award or Leicester getting a penalty in injury time, but it's a very, very close one for me this weekend, and even more infuriating in that my own team still lost. I mean at least it got Cooper the boot.

@CaaC (John) drops down to 5th having missed on that game by just a goal himself. Should Leicester have actually attempted to equalise once we got the goal, and been successful in doing so, he'd be sat top of the league by over £300 after correctly picking a Tottenham win at Man City.

@Stan somehow comes out of it even unluckier than me though in my opinion. The bet builder sails in but for Cole Palmer, Chelsea's star player, not only not scoring or assisting (My FPL captain of course) but having one blocked off the line by his own player.

We did get a winner though as @RandoEFC bumps up to 2nd in the league, following a successful double.

EPL - Sunday 1st December

Man United v Everton (Man United win)
Chelsea v Aston Villa (Score draw)

4.75 for the bottom one.

Doing this because when I look at your selections you don't tend to provide the odds. I can generally find them for ones like the top one but not score draws.

£5 > £36.05

First leg - Everton are shite with a dinosaur manager who will go there to keep the score down despite the fact that Man Utd can easily be got at regardless of new manager bounce.

Second leg - Wolves matches have averaged 4 goals per game this season. They've scored in all but one game and conceded in all but one. The stats aren't quite there on Bournemouth's side but I could easily see this one being quite end to end and ending something like 2-2.

I don't rate Man Utd but even under Ten Hag we were unable to lay a glove on them. The club has a shit mentality so they just see the name Man Utd and go into the game already defeated, something that has only got worse under the current manager.

Usually I'd predict us to get a few token poor-quality shots away in a game like this en route to an uninspiring 2-0 loss but Amorim will want to make a statement in their first home game and I can see them being really determined to give us nothing.

Anyway, my Wolves O3.5 came in after 16 minutes xD. Hopefully my pessimistic Everton bet doesn't come in quite so emphatically.

I'm doing £20 on Norwich and Millwall wins. Both evens.

Millwall total bottlers.

Painfully accurate. We're on 1 shot on target with 10 minutes left.

2 shots on target for us in the end. One of my biggest winners in this game I think at odds north of 6/1. Puts me up to a decent record overall for the season.

New week and I have the unfortunate news to announce that we have a new leader. @RandoEFC takes top spot with a really impressive double that he will probably regret only having a fiver on, but it was enough to pip him above me.

I came pretty close, but the £20 stake choice screws me (3/3 losses on £20). Millwall blew it late on but Norwich won fairly comfortably.

@CaaC (John) & the returning @Pyfish both go true to their odds. A comfortable win at shorter odds but a loss with the long shot. Fair's fair really.

@Stan doesn't do enough to get off bottom spot, but takes his second win of the season and a good one at that - he wanted goals and got them, Stockport adding their third and the game's fourth late on.

Another profitable week. We're doing collectively better than last season.

£10 > £26

I think it'll be a very back foot performance from us in the derby and Liverpool will get plenty of corners.

I think Man Utd are underpriced against Forest. Forest have finally had a bit of a dip in form lately whereas I expect Man Utd to be stronger at home for the rest of the season.

I will change to this please with the derby postponed.

Snatched another win at the end thanks to Ajax's late goal!
