Administrator Stan Posted May 12, 2018 Administrator Share Posted May 12, 2018 Parma one win away from securing a return to Serie A !!! They need to beat Spezia next week and hope Frosinone drop points at home to Foggia. Empoli already promoted as champions.
ScoRoss
Fantastic news for everyone who grew up watching Italian football in the 90's. In tribute, this is well worth a listen.
ScoRoss
All summer to try and sort something out, and here we are weeks before the season is supposed to start and they haven't even decided what teams are going to be in the division. Eco
Palermo and Foggia have kicked off. I really like both teams, but given that Foggia are fighting relegation and they were my first match in Italy, I'll will be hoping for 3 points from them. Eco
Foggia have held Palermo for a half. 0-0 at half-time.
Eco
And there it is! A massive point for Foggia as they hold Palermo to a draw 0-0. Foggia could have scored right at the end, but in the end, Palermo were slightly better but unable to break the deadlock. And thus, that ends week 21 of Serie B! Eco
The Hearts of Palermo supporters have had a very difficult month. Will all the ownership fiasco, today they played Brescia, who currently are in 1st, scored in the 79th minute to take the lead, only to allow Brescia tie it up in the 90th minute. Dalmore
It's a pity that Palermo always had awful owners who took advantage of the club. Imagine Palermo with a healthy ownership & administration with players like Dybala, Belotti, Cavani, Pastore etc...
Dalmore
another 3-0 loss for Palermo last night this downhill really makes me sad. They were 1st on the ranking table but with all these problems nobody knows where they will end up.

Maybe not the biggest news, but for anyone who was a Serie A fan in the Football Italia days on Channel 4, he holds a special place. I remember him at Foggia, which is why they, and him, always hold a place in my heart that's special. Such a legend.

Eco
Quote Foggia lose Serie B appeal Foggia are set to start next season in Serie C after they lost their appeal for a six-point deduction to be lifted. Foggia had sent the appeal following Palermo’s demotion for financial irregularities. However, CONI appeals court chief Franco Frattini ruled on Friday that the original verdict would stand. Consequently, there will be no need for playouts, with the Rossoneri finishing a point behind Salernitana in 16th place. Frattini also formalised the decision for promotion playoffs to go ahead, throwing out Palermo’s appeal to have them suspended.
