Bouna Sarr makes a miraculously quick comeback from injury to replace Sakai. Why oh why are they announcing their lineup in the format of a FIFA 19 Ultimate Team lineup? Football .
Dave Posted August 27, 2018 Posted August 27, 2018 Mbappe, Neymar and Cavani all on the score sheet this weekend. With a whole season behind them they should gel better as a cohesive unit this time round. Even if Neymar has the maturity of a nine year old.

...Dan Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 Denayer in for Morel for his debut, Aouar sits out again. Balotelli is back. Maolida dropped.
...Dan Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 Saint-Maximin clips it over the advancing keeper but hits the bar. Nice should be in front.
...Dan Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 Saint-Maximin does make it 1-0. Big deflection off Marcelo beats Anthony Lopes.
...Dan Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 Glad to see Vieira get his first win, he changed the system and it worked well, but it's another disappointing performance from OL. Depay as the 9 isn't really working. Hopefully Dembélé will do better. Six points dropped already, they don't look anywhere near capable of challenging PSG.
Dave Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 Massive win for Patrick Vieria's team against Lyon.
...Dan Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 @Batard no Thauvin ?! Also Gustavo at centre back over Kamara and Caleta Car seems a weird choice. Mitroglu in is a good move. Debuts for new signings Strootman and Henrichs.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted September 2, 2018 Subscriber Posted September 2, 2018 Marseille are the bookies favourites to win despite being away. Has Monaco's stock really fallen that far?

Monaco haven't started well, but neither have OM. The away side are also without Thauvin...so I don't know why they're favourites.
Administrator Stan Posted September 2, 2018 Administrator Posted September 2, 2018 Strootman goes straight in to the Marseille side.
...Dan Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 Golden opportunity for Mitroglu provided by a great ball from Bouna Sarr, but he doesn't hit it with any conviction.
Administrator Stan Posted September 2, 2018 Administrator Posted September 2, 2018 Glaring gap between Monaco's back line and midfield which is being exploited well by Strootman and Payet.
Administrator Stan Posted September 2, 2018 Administrator Posted September 2, 2018 Goal Marseille! Payet with a superb cross and Mitroglou gets his header in this time after missing an easy chance earlier. 1-0 to Marseille!
...Dan Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 And that's why Mitroglou needs to start over Germain. 1-0 OM on the stroke of half time.
Administrator Stan Posted September 2, 2018 Administrator Posted September 2, 2018 terrible error from Rami leads to Tielemans scoring in to pretty much an empty net, despite Falcao's shot being blocked on the line. Marseille seemed in control of the game too.
...Dan Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 Two gameweeks in a row Adil Rami makes a mistake that leads to a goal. He did brilliantly to get back to block the first shot though...unfortunately for him it landed at Tielemans' feet.
Administrator Stan Posted September 2, 2018 Administrator Posted September 2, 2018 Turnaround complete for Marseille. A cross again from the right isn't cleared by Rami properly and it ends at Falcao's feet again. Easy goal for the striker.
...Dan Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 Takes Thauvin 12 minutes to get the equaliser.
Administrator Stan Posted September 2, 2018 Administrator Posted September 2, 2018 THAUVIN!!! Equaliser for Marseille! Very good goal with good build-up. Sakai cuts it back for Thauvin to drill it in with his left foot. Could be a entertaining final 15 minutes. Been a decent game overall.
Administrator Stan Posted September 2, 2018 Administrator Posted September 2, 2018 No way?! Germain scores against his old club. What a header. His first touch as well Thauvin having an impact again, providing the assist.
...Dan Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 Valère Germain ! Probably the smallest man on the pitch, but he gets his head on it and finds the corner.
