Weird to be playing on September 11th. Imagine they will do a whole bit on the anniversary before kick off, followed by some form of a good gesture by the Mexicans.

Will be interesting to see how this turns out tonight. We will be playing a very young squad as we have been recently, so this will be a first really rivalry for a lot of these younger players.

The highlight was Miazaga mocking a Mexico player for being really short xD

He also waved Miazaga off the pitch.

Just saw what that apparent footballer Matt Miazga done to a Mexican footballer in the shape of Diego Lainez (who is infact a promising talent)...

Fools are easy always in life and some things don’t turn out to be outlayed as a joke even if it was intended as such when you’re actually crap at the game.

Anyhow... I found these tweets a lot funnier than what he done which Infact contain truths.

Translated;

”How do you explain to someone that looks to be retarded like Matt Miazga that stature is the least important thing?

The rest of the post is self explanatory and of course is measured in the modern version of weights and measures which is the metric system, something Miazga may not be aware of even if he is very lucky enough to be plying a trade that’s beyond him in the continental home of real innovation.

Here’s one more...

Translated;

”Miazga, why don’t you just go and play basketball?  You don’t know a shit about the history of this sport!”

I love the asparagus likeness to the picture they’ve posted there. No wonder he doesn’t have a seemingly good quality of eyesight... Some things are too quick for someone as cumbersome as what he seems to be.

Good luck in entering the history books like some of the names you have a difficulty in visualising from such a tremendous hight.

Talk about taking it to the extreme. He was making fun of his stature because he tried to get physical with him that led to a foul.

Amazing how this has riled up so many people into thinking the insult had anything to do with his ability as a footballer. Those social media posts comparing the heights of footballing legends are down right embarrasing.

Mate, stature is something that has hindered footballers of the past, great talents that were shown prejudice against.  In the same manner as any other prejudice can be relayed at any given time in any particular modem, this is along the same lines.

There have also been plenty of smaller guys that have laid tall lanky nobodies to the ground like Miagi or whatever his name is,

It's an over reaction. He's taking the piss out of his stature because Lainez tried to get physical with him. Nothing more. Those social media tweets/posts are down right embarrassing. "You're short so you are shit at football". How on earth do you interpret that?

Miazga is also a decent talent as well. Been impressed from his league debut with us in 2016 and all I'm hearing from his loan spells are positive. No doubt he is progressing and I'm sure he will be the main man of defence on the USA team.
