Dave Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 3 goals in 4 games. Already matched Benteke's total for the whole of last season. Will he keep this form up? Or do you reckon he will pick up another injury?
Harry Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 I bloody hope he'll keep it up. I really rated him at Liverpool but respect him a lot for moving away in search of regular football rather than being content to be third understudy to firmino....
Danny Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 I don't think he scored in the first game, but I remember watching him and thinking he looks really sharp. As long as he can stay injury free I think he'll have a very good season, it's a shame it didn't work out at Liverpool but the early signs for him are good.
LFCMadLad Posted September 21, 2018 Posted September 21, 2018 He's ineligible to play against us on Saturday, which is good.
Inverted Posted September 21, 2018 Posted September 21, 2018 He was even looking sharp for Liverpool last season when he started coming on, and probably should have got a few goals off the bench. I don't think it's surprising that he's doing well as a regular starter for a decent side.

But goals... on paper, but he forced quite a few decent to good saves in little short cameo substitutes. I’m not surprised with more time and getting to settle, he’s scoring and looks better.
