I know it's become cool to slag Spurs off for never winning anything but bar an unlikely turnaround (given the significantly weakened XI) that's them trophyless again this year and what a pathetic way to bow out.

No trophies in how long for Spurs? More than half of the Premier League out of the tournament including Arsenal and Liverpool, golden opportunity to go all the way with minimal effort unless they're unlucky enough to draw City or United and they probably go out to Palace (No disrespect).

I'm not saying this is what should happen to Poch but if this was prime Wenger era Arsenal seeing their title challenge fade and going out of two cups in the space of a couple of weeks, Arsene would have been lynched for it.

Depressing seeing that even becoming the third best team in the country doesn't allow you to shake off the "it's only Spurs" mentality. People say it's a myth but year in year out we see inferior Man Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal teams win trophies while Spurs keep missing opportunities.

That last ten minutes was almost surreal for this level of football. The Walker-Peters handball, the defending for N'Koudou's chance, the N'Koudou miss, the Van Aanholt foul, the Trippier penalty.

That's five incidents of absolutely awful play in about ten minutes xD

The stand out for me was the defending for the Nkoudou chance, just farcical. Should have been punished but piss funny that it wasn't.

Great post, especially the last 2 paragraphs.

And me. I was watching it thinking it was almost surreal. That he's missed it is unbelievable.

Twice!

The defending was more comical, for me. He wasn't even the only player that was loitering round there either xD. Palace must have thought 'fuck it Trippier's gonna shoot let's not mark anyone.'
