Stroll only touched the wall though, so no concerns about the driver anyway...

I know, but it's almost as if he's too happy about it xD

Why wouldn't you celebrate an absolute parasite crashing into the wall? Not as if he was close to being hurt anyway so not really that bizarre.

Apparently he went out in Q1 due to a "foggy visor". Sky pundits ripped him apart, as polite as they could xD

Whether he was close to being hurt or not, it's still a bit weird how much you want him to crash - if something happened to Stroll like what happened to Bianchi I genuinely think you'd throw a party and rejoice :/

Fantastic news this, Ferrari's self implosion continues :dam:. The fastest car of the weekend and a nailed on 1-2. Now starting from 16th, there will surely be two Silver Arrows ready to pounce on Vettel (should he take pole).

Ferrari on the wind-up.

Huge. Few seconds seems like nothing but it's a gulf of a difference for those teams. Big gains.

Gasly under investigation for fuel flow violation in Q1. He's already starting from the pitlane anyway, how can they possibly punish him further? Make him start from the Baku oil fields?...

Williams + xD

Embarrassing, isn't it?... This is a horrible time for Williams and I wonder how long are they going to survive. Mazepin is apparently interested in buying the team...

Can they carry on punishments in to future races?

No don't think so but they could disqualify him from this race though... Unlikely to happen though I think.

Now official: they disqualified him from the results of qualifying but considering that he was supposed to start from the pitlane anyway this doesn't change anything. He also got a 5 grid position penalty for changing the gearbox earlier today xD What a weekend. Would be hilarious if he managed to get on the podium somehow.
