Really happy for Algeria. I remember some great teams of the past like the 1982 World Cup team beating Germany. I hope they win it.

Only the third time in history of the tournament both finalists are lead by local coaches, last time happened in 80s so it's the first one in the modern era

I can only watch the second half. However, Algeria winning an AFCON in Egypt will be quite something. I can’t imagine Egyptians would be too thrilled!

Algeria are champions of Africa. Deserved win, they've beaten Ivory Coast, Nigeria, and Senegal twice. Ismaël Bennacer wins player of the tournament.
