...Dan Posted February 13, 2020 Posted February 13, 2020 Come on Milan! If they can play as well as they did in the first half against inter for 90 minutes they could cause an upset.

Did you see Pioli saying that his Milan side were made for winning against Juventus?

Administrator Stan Posted February 13, 2020 Administrator Posted February 13, 2020 Bit of a scrappy game so far. Cuadrado's shot the closest chance. What's the rule on players lying down behind the wall? Thought that wasn't allowed any more? De Sciglio did it but it was let go. Kessie lucky the ref missed his forearm to the face of Cuadrado.
Administrator Stan Posted February 13, 2020 Administrator Posted February 13, 2020 Referee is card happy but it's one of those where you shouldn't be giving the referee an opportunity to book you. Cynical and mistimed foul on Dybala. Ref had no option but to book him. Milan looked comfortable and wonder if they'll feel the effect of losing someone like Theo in these closing stages. Rebic took his goal well earlier.
Eco Posted February 13, 2020 Author Posted February 13, 2020 Did they just say that AC Milan hasn't beaten Juventus in the Coppa Italia since 1985?
Eco Posted February 13, 2020 Author Posted February 13, 2020 That's the right call. His arm was way out there.

How's he meant to get out the way of it? He's off the ground and coming back down too? Where else is his arm meant to go?!

Eco Posted February 13, 2020 Author Posted February 13, 2020 It ends 1-1. I guess Milan just can't beat Juve in the Coppa Italia.

Where else would your arms go?
Eco Posted February 13, 2020 Author Posted February 13, 2020 it might be harsh, but I still thinks it a good call. the arm is out and extended
...Dan Posted February 13, 2020 Posted February 13, 2020 Milan deserved to win that. Really unfortunate to concede that penalty. I think it has to be given though. It's a shot on target that could've gone in if his hand wasn't there.

He's been scoring quite a few goals recently, so it will be interesting to see if Milan eventually take up the option to buy him.

Administrator Stan Posted March 3, 2020 Administrator Posted March 3, 2020 Juve/Milan game postponed.
Eco Posted March 4, 2020 Author Posted March 4, 2020 Looks like most everything will be postponed for the month of March in Italy.
ScoRoss Posted June 8, 2020 Posted June 8, 2020 Inter had threatened to play their youth team in protest, but still will be nice to have Italian football back in some shape or form.
