MUFC Posted September 3, 2019 Posted September 3, 2019 Suppose to be raining all Sunday in Milan, oh full wets.
Moderator Tommy Posted September 3, 2019 Moderator Posted September 3, 2019 Monza in the rain you say?
nudge Posted September 4, 2019 Author Posted September 4, 2019 Verstappen and Gasly will start from the back of the grid as all four RB/TR drivers will now take Honda's Spec 4 engine. At Spa only Kvyat ran it and apparently the bosses were very happy as it performed exactly as expected. Rain should make Monza fun. Probably less of an advantage for Ferrari.

Will Albon be at the back?

No as Albon took the new Spec 4 engine (and the penalty for it) at Spa already but only used it for free practice and reverted back to Spec 2 for the race. Only Kvyat used Spec 4 for the race at Spa.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted September 4, 2019 Subscriber Posted September 4, 2019 Ferrari should dick this race completely. Given their speed advantage in sectors 1 and 3 in Belgium, I wouldn't be surprised to see them leading by over half a second here in qualifying because there's much less downforcey bits here than Spa for Mercedes to make up some of the difference. Should be a front row lockout and a 1-2 win. Rain could change that completely though.

nudge Posted September 5, 2019 Author Posted September 5, 2019 Ferrari with the new Spec 3 PU in Monza - not the same version as the one they gave to Haas and Sauber at Spa though; this version is a Ferrari-only version

Moderator Tommy Posted September 6, 2019 Moderator Posted September 6, 2019 Aaaaand another red flag. This time Checo crashed his car.
Moderator Tommy Posted September 6, 2019 Moderator Posted September 6, 2019 Seeing McLaren on P2 and 3 really is a strange yet familiar feeling
MUFC Posted September 6, 2019 Posted September 6, 2019 Don't think there be rain Sunday, weather showing a dry day.
