SirBalon
This is Real Sociedad's new stadium which will be inaugurated today at 17:30 bst in the La Liga clash against Atlético Madrid. It's a reformed Anoeta that will now be called the Reale Arena. The new stadium has had it's capacity raised by 10,000 from 28,995 to 38,995 with various difference aesthetically. But the best and most important change is the olympic running track that's been cancelled out and the stands moved pitch-side.
Danny
What a transformation, the low arching roof on a bowlish stadium really gives it a bit of character, similar to Marseille

Administrator Stan Posted October 2, 2019 Administrator Share Posted October 2, 2019 Really helps that the running track goes. Hate those in football stadiums.
Subscriber Pyfish+ Posted October 2, 2019 Subscriber Share Posted October 2, 2019 I really like that! The running track just puts fans further away from the action so I'm all for them getting removed. Going to add this stadium to the list of ones I want to visit I think. Carnivore Chris
It looks a lot more vibrant there now that they've got rid of the racing track and the fans are much closer to the pitch.
