Getting up early on a Sunday sucks though. Oh well, still my favourite track, and the Japanese supporters are always amazing, and a little crazy.

I think I'll pull an all nighter and go to bed after the race xD

Hmm, but then I'll miss most of Sunday. I like daytime :P Well, I'll wait for the weather reports. If it's going to rain all day, it might be an option :D

Mercedes are rumoured to bring their final big upgrade to Suzuka.

RB with a new fuel that is supposed to unlock full performance of the engine. Some rumours about new aero upgrades but nothing substantial at this point.

The early weather forecast do not look good at all... Typhoon seems to be forming and should be hitting Japan with all its fury next weekend.

Do they ever have weather delays?

Yes definitely. All sessions (including the race) can be postponed (and have been in the past) and even canceled if the weather conditions are deemed too dangerous.

Do they postpone or just cancel?

Depends. I remember qualifying being postponed until Sunday morning just before the race. I don't recall any F1 race being postponed or completely canceled before the start but there have been quite a few that have been red-flagged and not resumed.

I think what would happen here if the weather conditions were too dangerous is that they'd all drive a few laps behind the safety car, then red-flag the race and award half points.
