  2. Sorry, yet have to puiss on your parade. Tommy predicted Leverkusen to become champions, which is worth 3 points, others predicted Leverkusen to finish in top 4, which is worth 1 point, though. That's a 2 point advantage for him. Still only one player got points for their cup winner prediction, though. @6666 with Leverkusen reaching the final that'*s 3 points mininum and even 5 , if Leverkusen will win it versus Lautern. Since everybody else got 0 points with their prediction that's an advantage of 3 and potentially 5 points. Oops

  4. I can see why West Ham want to try something else but fuck me, it would genuinely be one of the funniest things ever if they're absolutely shite next season after thinking they can do better than Moyes for a second time . There was actually a growing appetite for this as we reached the latter stages of our terrible run from December to March but Dyche has now got credit in the bank after recent results that nobody can deny him at least another season and to take us to the new stadium as long as we aren't on track to take the plunge next season. The fans were talking a bit about Moyes but given that the owner isn't interested in running the club anymore, the director of football's contract expires this summer and the club don't have the money to pay off another manager and his backroom team, I think it was all academic and that Dyche would still have been managing us next season if we were in the Championship.
  5. Complete with the Allianz sponsorship on the sleeve
  6. Back to looking lackadaisical again, thoroughly outplayed and outcoached. I almost dont really blame the players in this one, everyone must have their eye on Wednesday when theres just nothing to play for in the league at this point. Guerreiro confirmed out for the Madrid match
  7. Well, the club's officials will have a lot to answer at the next annual member meeting, I guess. Sacking Fischer was the wrong reaction to the issues they faced at the begin of the season, in my honest opinion, that aside it never looks good for a club, if they sack a manager not even half a year after appointing them. As for the progress after last season: Qualifying for the CL was an outlayer that couldn't be expected to be repeated. That might even have been a poisoned gift in hindsight, since Union left their way from a club trying to get the best out of players, that either didn't lived up to the expectations you could have had for them before or were average talented Buli players anyway, by forming them to an unity that was better a sum than the single parts suggested to a team signing big names. Probably too many steps at once for them. That said the players have to take a fair share of the blame as many of them, especially those new recruited with a reputation performed disappointingly much too often.
  8. I think with @Tommy somehow predicting Leverkussen to win the league....hes sitting pretty right now
  9. I think Leeds will overcome their 'choker/bottler' tag this time round. Southampton are the most formidable of the remaining 3, but even so I think they'll beat them in the final if they both get there, and I think they both will. Norwich are bit hit and miss, as are West Brom. They're the kinds of teams that when they're on it, they can just overcome teams with ease, but those kinds of days haven't been consistent enough and they can chuck in a stinker of a game or result. Leeds and Southampton on the other hand can be much more 'on it'.
  10. What a fall from grace after last season's success. Too much too soon? Shame they couldn't progress after that season.
  11. Already the second manager they sack this season! Union apparently are in panic they might finish this seaon on the relegation play off spot.U19 coach Marco Grote takes over as a caretaker.
  12. I have to win one of these leagues.
  13. Anyone but West Brom, please. And Norwich now feel like a slightly dull yo-yo club. Although many could perhaps imagine Ipswich & Norwich usefully taking 2 of the bottom 3 spots. Leeds & Southampton certainly seem the 2 that could add something to the mid table areas of the top division. Maybe raise the relegation bar back to more normal levels.
  14. Uganda is not a great example seeing as the homophobic laws there are influenced directly by British Colonialism
  15. Got to be Leeds or Southampton surely. I'll go for Southampton based on @Lucas's theory that Leeds will choke and bottle it in the play offs. I'll be shocked of West Brom or Norwich go up.
  16. I think it's about time they replace him and I don't think he's done a bad job either. I think that he has done a great job at stabilising them in the league, and of course winning the Conference League was silverware they have lacked since 1999. But I also think that as a club, if you leave your ancestral home like Upton Park, where the fans belong, where the fans are on top of the pitch, a ground that has so much history and was one of the truly iconic grounds of English football....to move to what is very much a soulless bowl next to a shopping centre and gentrified canal district, so you can get the 60k attendances and money that comes with it, you have to try and take the club further forward than just 6th, 7th, 14th and 9th place finish. With West Ham's recent history, if they were still at Upton Park I'd say this is probably unfair and Moyes can't do much more. But I think where they are now, with the finances that brings, they have to improve and they have to try to disrupt the top 6. On top of that, they've suffered a lot of defeats this season where they concede 4 goals, 5 goals in one game. For Moyes' defence to that to simply be that they no longer have Declan Rice, it's not really good enough tbh. I think Moyes will bounce back quite easily, I think had they not have just signed Glasner he'd have Crystal Palace written all over him. Otherwise Forest could do with him massively. But I think he'll take time out and wait for the right job to pop up, who knows maybe even a return to Everton will be back on the cards?
  17. If I was David Moyes I think I'd have walked with this news. No chance of West Ham improving on 9th now. There has always been this 'manager for now' vibe, but surely just let whatever caretaker have the last 2 matches. Another club will give Moyes a job. If not for the start of next season, at least when they decide they need proven experience. He's long past this caretaker trialist level West Ham are treating him like.

I think it’s better in baguette form as the bread to crust ratio is perfect, if its in a bloomer type bread theres too much bread and not enough crust
  21. Wish her good luck! On a side note: 32 is an extraordinaryly young age for a manager with the highest possible licence!
