  1. What I am not okay with is having Joey Barton on TV as a football pundit. The man is an embarrassment!
  2. They will always be there, whether they see the West as weak and feeble or not. They are fanatics, they will always fight those they don't see eye to eye with or those they perceive as being evil, in their own warped perspective. Moreover, you can't be associating migrants with these terror groups, even though a few of them might have some allegiance towards them.
  3. There is no source, we both know that he's made that up. It doesn't take an age for him to send you the link you requested, it just doesn't exist.
  4. I read this yesterday and I think that it will be really depressing if it turns out that the West will not fulfil their promises to Ukraine. Put yourself in Zelensky's position and that of the majority of Ukrainians. Russia has invaded 3 regions of your country since 2014, then on February the 24th, 2022, they start a mass invasion of your country. Naturally you are going to try and fight back. Then a peace deal was proposed in April 2022, but Johnson and the West come in and reassure Zelensky and the Ukrainian people, that the West has their full backing. The West helps Ukraine by supplying them with some great modern weapons(not near enough mind you) and they help with the training of Ukrainian soldiers. I am sure that most leaders in Zelensky's position would have done exactly the same thing in April 2022. Why would you go ahead with a peace deal with the aggressor country, that's just tried to take over your country and topple the government, when you have the supposed full backing of the West? The West who promised to support you with weapons until Ukrainian victory is achieved. For the West to now go back on their promise of "unlimited support", would be a great act of treachery. Just think of all the lives lost in the last 2 years and for what? No peace deal in the near future, is going to go down well with any Ukrainians, when they could have agreed a similar peace deal in April 2022, before thousands of lives were lost. The whole reason most Ukrainians agreed to continue the fight in this war and to sacrifice their husbands and sons, was so that Ukraine could get back all of their territories and kick the Russians out. For the West to stop backing Ukraine now, would mean that all of those lives lost, would have been in vain and that would be a real travesty. Zelensky has been seen by Ukrainians as a great leader during the course of this war, but if he were to settle for a peace deal at this stage, then the public opinion of him in Ukraine would completely change. It would be a real sad day, if indeed the West don't keep to their word as far as the war in Ukraine is concerned.
  5. Their only striker? Isn't Rusyn a striker? Isn't Burstow a striker? Isn't Luis Semedo a striker? I personally think that it's probably a good decision to get rid of Mowbray now, since Sunderland's performances, weren't meeting expectations in terms of results and consistency. 19 matches into the Championship season and they have already lost 8 league matches. For a team that was looking for a serious crack at promotion this season, I don't think that losing that many matches at this stage of the season is really acceptable. I have to personally question some of Mowbray's selection choices during some matches as well. But at the end of the day, I think this is probably the right time to find a new manager that can get better results and help them with their push for promotion.
  6. Former Chancellor Alistair Darling dies aged 70 - BBC News Alistair Darling has passed away aged 70, after undergoing treatment for cancer. R.I.P. Alistair Darling
  7. You would think that having lived in Nazi Germany as a Jew and having been persecuted by the Nazis in Germany, that his political actions would have been more empathetic. But alas, he turned out to be a war monger and his political decisions resulted in the millions of deaths of innocent people. Interestingly enough, he played for the youth team of Greuther Furth, before his family fled Germany. So he was a bit of a talented footballer in his youth, it's just a shame that he became an infamous politician in adulthood.
  8. Is it just me, or are bias presenters like James Whale just unreal in how they behave when interviewing the pro-Palestinians? Here are a couple of examples where we can demonstrate that there is no pleasing presenters like James Whale. In the first interview, @23:10 a passionate pro-Palestinian guest, tries to make a point, demonstrating how he is being constantly cut off and not allowed to complete his points, because he is always being interrupted. James Whale then accuses him of being violent and even says to him, "why don't you just go away!". I find it ridiculous that he claimed that the guy was being violent, when he clearly wasn't. It's just clear to see that the guy is passionate and concerned about what's going on in Palestine. In the following interview below, another educated pro-Palestine guest is interviewed. This guest is much more calm and collected. It is clear that he is trying to be as polite and as friendly as possible when he is being interviewed by James Whale. @10:43 James Whale accuses the guest of smirking and being rude when talking about a serious situation. When if we watch the interview in context, we can just see the guy smile, because he is very surprised by the responses from James Whale and Ash(James's side-kick). The guest has to then clarify to James, that he is smiling out of politeness and because he is trying to be nice. It's as if you can't win with people like James Whale and Ash. If the guests are passionate, he accuses them of being violent and aggressive. While if they are calm and polite, he accuses them of smirking and mocking the situation in Palestine. I find it ridiculous and to be honest, it's just a tactic to make the guests they oppose look bad. I mean Ash is arguably even more rude than James, in the way he speaks to the pro-Palestinian guests. Fair enough, he is Jewish and he is no doubt on the side of Israel, but that doesn't mean he should be rude to the guests on the show.
  9. Yeah, congrats on the win, I can only imagine the stress you were going through when they scored 2 goals in 2 minutes to make it 4-3. In the end, you clinched the 3 points and Dusseldorf are still one of the favourites for promotion this season. Dusseldorf and especially Hamburg have tried so hard and gone so close to getting promoted in recent seasons. Surely at least one of those 2 teams will get promoted come the end of the season.
  10. Well, elated in the sense that when it was 4-3, Schalke were throwing the kitchen sink at Dusseldorf for a period. Maybe relieved would have been a better choice of word, lol. That win means Fortuna Dusseldorf now sit in 3rd place in the 2.Bundesliga table, behind the two Hamburg based clubs. With St. Pauli in 1st position and Hamburger SV in 2nd place. St. Pauli are still undefeated in the league after 14 matches, that's a very impressive run that they've gone on without losing.
  11. Niemiec scores to seal the win for Fortuna Dusseldorf deep into injury time. But what a match, 10/10 for entertainment! I am sure Tommy will be elated with this result! Fortuna Dusseldorf 5-3 Schalke
  12. Unbelievable match in Dusseldorf! Fortuna Dusseldorf were 3-0 up at one point. Then Schalke pulled a goal back to make it 3-1, but then Dusseldorf extended their lead to 4-1 in the 65th minute, through a goal by Tzolis. The match seemed won by Dusseldorf at that point, but then 2 quickfire goals by Schalke in the 74th and 75th minutes, through Kalas and Lasme, to make it 4-3, brought Schalke right back into the game. Schalke are now throwing everything at Dusseldorf in search of that equaliser. It's an extremely tense match in Dusseldorf, can Fortuna hold on to their lead?
  13. If Everton do get relegated come the end of the season, which now looks more likely after the points deduction, we will likely see an influx of players leave the club. Which will be a sad situation, as it will make it very difficult for the club to get promoted back to the Premier League again, any time in the near future.
  14. I've had like 5 jabs myself, what do you think's going to happen to me? What can I expect?
  15. Malaysia made an excellent come-back against Kyrgyzstan, after going 1-3 down. Malaysia managed to win the match 4-3, scoring their 4th goal in the 3rd minute of injury time right at the end of the match.
  16. Yes, some of the excuses for the massacre of thousands of innocent women and children has been outrageous. Some people in the media have also really gone down in my estimation, with some of the views they've given.
  17. I hate to say it, but the TFLA and Tommy's lot are probably the ones who got her the sack in the end, due to their rowdy behaviour. I was there when they were all kettled in at Parliament Square and then when they charged the police and hurled abuse at them. The riot police looked outnumbered, but they did a decent job, under the circumstances.
