  1. Iraq score a 2nd goal! It was Hussein again who scored as he met a lovely cross with a powerful header which found the back of the net! Iraq 2-0 Japan
  2. Iraq have taken a surprise early lead against Japan through a goal by Hussein. It's been an intense match in this 1st half. Iraq 1-0 Japan
  3. Mainz 1-1 Union Freiburg 2-1 Hoffenheim Köln 1-2 Dortmund Bochum 1-2 Stuttgart Heidenheim 1-1 Wolfsburg Darmstadt 1-3 Frankfurt Leipzig 2-2 Leverkusen Bayern 4-1 Bremen Gladbach 2-1 Augsburg Bayern 4-1 Union
  4. Karlsruhe 2-1 Osnabrück Kiel 2-1 Braunschweig St Pauli 3-1 Lautern Nürnberg 2-1 Rostock Elversberg 2-2 Hannover Schalke 2-2 Hamburg Hertha BSC 2-2 Düsseldorf Paderborn 1-1 Fürth Magdeburg 2-1 Wehen
  5. For religious people they usually take a very differing view. You hardly ever find religious Christians celebrating Ramadhan or Eid, just as you would rarely ever find religious muslims celebrating Christmas or Easter.
  6. I don't think he would have any issues with the comfort of living in Saudi Arabia, he would have the red carpet rolled out for him. Mo Salah is a muslim, he would obviously feel at home in Saudi Arabia with the welcome he would get there as well as the muslim environment. Furthermore, he wouldn't be on the end of racist abuse in Saudi Arabia, which he has been subjected to in England. However, for Salah, there is no real good enough reason for him to move right now. He is playing at his peak at one of the best clubs in the world in the best league in the world. Salah is already being paid a bomb by Liverpool, so moving to a lesser league, where they pay good money, is not a big incentive for him right now. Would it be a possible choice for Salah in maybe 2 years time to move to a club in Saudi Arabia when he's probably just past his peak? Yes, that seems much more of a probable idea. I agree that the abuse that Salah got for celebrating Christmas, was not on, just as I condemn the racist abuse that Salah has received. But then again, I do not follow a religious doctrine and so I don't care what a muslim like Salah celebrates, just as I wouldn't care what a Christian like Giroud celebrates, but religious people usually have a differing view on such things to me. One thing is for sure, if Salah moved to play in Saudi Arabia, he wouldn't have to put up with the racist abuse that can be seen in the following videos:
  7. Egypt equalise through Mohamed as he slotted home a cross! Egypt 2-2 Ghana
  8. Yeah a poor back pass was capitalised by Marmoush who did well to round the keeper and slot the ball home for Egypt. But Kudos scored a 2nd goal to help Ghana retake the lead.
  9. Ghana really need to win this match after losing their first game. That was a great goal from Kudus but it will be interesting to see how Egypt respond.
  10. The UAE have taken an early lead against Palestine thanks to a headed goal by Sultan Al-Amiri. UAE 1-0 Palestine
  11. The Ivory Coast and Nigeria are drawing 0-0 at half-time. It was a pretty even first half, but lets see if any side can get the win in the 2nd half. Ivory Coast 0-0 Nigeria
  12. These are who I think are the best players from the top national teams in Asia: Japan: Takefusa Kubo and Kaoru Mitoma South Korea: Son Heung-min and Kim Min-jae Australia: Harry Souttar and Jackson Irvine Saudi Arabia: Salem Al-Dawsari and Abdulellah Al-Malki Iran: Mehdi Taremi and Saman Ghoddos Iraq: Mohanad Ali Al-Shammari and Ali Al-Hamadi Oman: Salaah Al-Yahyaei and Ahmed Al-Kaabi Qatar: Akram Afif and Almoez Ali Uzbekistan: Eldor Shomurodov and Abbosbek Fayzullaev UAE: Ali Mabkhout and Ali Saleh Jordan: Mousa Al-Tamari and Ali Olwan China: Wu Lei and Zhang Yuning
  13. Guinea-Bissau pull a goal back through Ze Turbo deep in injury time, but it's too little too late as Equatorial Guinea win 4-2. Equatorial Guinea 4-2 Guinea-Bissau
  14. Uzbekistan lead India 3-0 at half-time and they will look to add some more goals in the 2nd half. Uzbekistan will look to score as many goals as possible as the 2nd half begins, because goal difference may come into the equation, as they compete with Australia for 1st place in the group. The Australians defeated India 2-0 in their opening match of the group and today they beat Syria 1-0, as Jackson Irvine got the winning goal Uzbekistan 3-0 India Australia 1-0 Syria
  15. Equatorial Guinea are leading Guinea-Bissau 4-1, it's been an excellent performance from them and with 10 minutes of the match left, they have surely secured the win today. Equatorial Guinea 4-1 Guinea-Bissau
  16. Yes, I watch it every week, it makes the Prem look like a Mickey Mouse League.
  17. Aren't both governments targeting rebel groups in the Baluchistan region? Not sure how irate the mullah's are going to be, I am sure deep down they are happy that the rebels are being targeted by both sides.
  18. What is this, the best footballer playing in Asia or the best Asian footballer? It seems like this has both. Not sure at all about the validity and accuracy of these rankings either, but Son has to be there near the top, so no objections to him being number 1.
  19. Well you definitely wouldn't want a "Dying Swan" in your team.
  20. A solid win for Morocco in the end, as they deservedly beat Tanzania 3-0. In the later AFCON match, DR Congo and Zambia drew 1-1. Morocco 3-0 Tanzania DR Congo 1-1 Zambia
  21. Lebanon and China drew 0-0 earlier today, while Qatar have just beaten Central Asian side Tajikistan 1-0 after an early goal by Akram Afif. Qatar have won both their opening games after defeating Lebanon 3-0 in their first match of the group and have now already qualified for the second round with a remaining group match still to play. Lebanon, China and Tajikistan are all still battling to finish 2nd in the group. Lebanon 0-0 China Qatar 1-0 Tajikistan
  22. I fully expect Morocco to beat Tanzania today. Lets hope they deliver unlike many of the other bigger African sides.
  23. England??!! You're taking the piss
