  1. Absolute disgrace and to think that he was their Prime Minister. The question that was asked, was a legitimate question and he had the cheek to turn around and tell the Sky News presenter to feel ashamed of himself for asking such questions. It's also quite clear to me, that he views all people in Gaza as his enemy. Or at least, if he just see's HAMAS as his enemy, he evidently does not give a damn about the innocent civilians in Gaza.
  2. Well, this is my point. They should be showing solidarity with both the Israeli innocent victims and the Palestinian innocent victims, if they want to be consistent. Both Hamas and the Israeli government have committed atrocities. The best solution would be not to fly any of their flags at all, and to get on with implementing a fair and balanced foreign policy.
  3. UK government buildings are flying the Israeli flag, in response to the massacre that happened a few days ago. I wonder if these same buildings will also be flying the Palestinian flags, after the Israeli bombardment of Gaza and the killings of hundreds of innocent Palestinian civilians?
  4. Yes, I find it convenient that similar ex-fanatics, suddenly tow the line, once they get a chance at having a well paid job and once they establish a successful career. I suspect that if he is respected among mainstream muslims, as you suggest, then it's probably because he is now saying more tasteful things. His arguments are today more palatable for moderate muslims to accept. But obviously what he says today, is not necessarily an indication of his true inner beliefs. I mean if you are capable of raging and ranting in public in the manner in which he used to do, then you have to be pretty psychologically messed up. He can say what he says and try to explain why he was the way he was, in order to maintain his current image, but there will always be question marks about people like him.
  5. I typed Mehdi Hasan on youtube and found the following: How seriously can this fanatic be taken?
  6. "Allegations", being the key word here.
  7. Having met both Israelis and Palestinians(in various European countries), I think that I can confidently say that there is a significant hardcore element, among both sides, that absolutely hate and despise the other. With that ingrained hate, it is hard to see if there will ever be a relatively peaceful solution to this ongoing conflict.
  8. The Azov Battalion are not made up of Nazis, that's pure Russian propaganda. Yes, they did have a Nazi problem years ago, but since they became a part of the National Guard, that is no longer the case. There are probably more far right members in the French or British military, than there are in the Azov Battalion. Moreover, why is there never any mention of the far right fascists fighting for the Russians in Ukraine? The Russian Imperial Movement and the Rusich Group, are just two white supremacist groups fighting for Russia in Ukraine.
  9. Those Palestinians celebrating the massacre that happened in Israel, on the streets of England are idiots. They shouldn't be celebrating such barbaric acts, but they will also go to their comfortable beds here in England, while innocent Palestinians will be bombed and killed by Israeli fire, in retaliation to what the Hamas terrorists did.
  10. I think if most people analyse the history of that particular region, they will come to the conclusion that the Jews were a minority there and therefore probably didn't have the right to establish their state of Israel. Especially with the encouraged influx of Jews into the region from places far away(mainly Eastern Europe), after they formed their state. However, what I have witnessed over the years, is equal brutality from both sides, namely the Israeli Government and Hamas. For all intents and purposes, Israel won this war years ago. If the Palestinians want to continue their resistance, they should not go about it by committing barbarous acts. Hamas has done them little favours over the years and neither have Fatah. All of Hamas, Fatah and the Israeli Government have committed terrible crimes for years, I just wish these crimes would stop, for the sake of the innocent people on both sides. On a side note, I am a bit disappointed in Zinchenko, for sticking his nose into the Israeli-Palestinian issue. He should stick to supporting Ukraine, instead of delving into other conflicts that he clearly doesn't know that much about.
  11. Bad news for Girona and Ukraine, is that Tsyhankov picked up an injury in Girona's match against Real Madrid and he will be out of action for the rest of October. Although he should be back fit and ready to play again in November.
  12. I am rooting for Girona against the mighty Real Madrid today. Girona are in 2nd place, alongside the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid. A win for either Girona or Real Madrid today, will take them top of the table. It's a hard ask for Girona to get the win today, against such strong opposition, but I am praying that Tsyhankov, Dovbyk and company deliver the goods.
  13. Yeah, Casteels has been an excellent goalkeeper, I hope he remains in the Bundesliga. Wolfsburg will replace him with a younger Keeper, FC Copenhagen's Kamil Grabara, who is only 24 years old. The ex-Liverpool goalkeeper, is a Polish international and he has really improved since he left Liverpool a couple of years ago. Grabara should be a good replacement for Casteels at Wolfsburg next season.
  14. The match finished Granada 2-4 Girona. This win for Girona, puts them in 3rd place in the La Liga table, behind Real Madrid and Barcelona. Girona are actually level on points with Barcelona, but it's only goal difference that keeps the Catalans in 2nd place.
  15. Well, Girona are 3 nil up away to Granada at half-time. Girona needless to say, were excellent once again. It was none other than their star man Tsyhankov who opened the scoring for Girona. He collected a pass that came his way, just outside the penalty area on the right flank. Tsyhankov then cut inside and unleashed a powerful left-footed swerving shot towards the far post, that found the back of the net. That goal gave Girona the lead in the 22nd minute of the match. Nine minutes later, Savio extended Girona's lead with a long range shot make it 2 nil to Girona and then, just 3 minutes later, Girona scored a 3rd goal. Tsyhankov swung in a cross from a free-kick into the area, Artem Dovbyk headed the cross across goal to set-up David Lopez to score from close range and to make it 3 nil. Tsyhankov could have scored a 4th goal for Girona before half-time, but was unlucky with his effort. Tsyhankov collected a pass from Dovbyk outside the area, Tsyhankov then ran towards goal, he played a one two with Gutierrez, Tsyahnkov then rounded and dribbled past the keeper, only to see his shot hit the post and bounce across the goal. Girona dominated the first half, lets see if they can score more goals in the second half. Half-time score: Granada 0-3 Girona
  16. I am looking forward to the Granada v Girona match this evening, with Tsyhankov and Dovbyk both starting for Girona. Girona were excellent last season and they have started even better this season. A win for Girona could potentially move them up to 2nd place in the La Liga table and it will at the very least have them move into 3rd place.
