  1. Marseille shouldn't profit when they're clearly tapping him up

Fraser Island isn't at Cairns it's about a 10-12 coach journey south. But I done Fraser and it's probably the best place I've been to in Australia. Gilligans is mental, you will love it.
  4. My stereotypical view of you @Large would be that you're out in Essex somewhere, how'd you end up working for the Bees?
  5. Remember Gray leaving and Odubajo congratulating him as if leaving us for someone "bigger" was the goal, don't think he'd of been so open about that if he were staying.
  6. Odubajo was made because we had a release clause in his contract but you're right, even after selling Gray we still hadn't cleared FFP hence having to sell more. I don't think people realise how overbudget we were in our first season.
  7. Yeah youll always lose your best player if a bigger clubs wants him, but it wasn't just that one player we lost. Alongside Andre Gray we then lost Douglas, Diagouraga, Dallas, Pritchard (loan), Odubajo and Tarkowski. That's 7 players who were all fairly key players for us, we didn't lose them because big money was thrown around in transfers, we lost them because they weren't signing new contracts and we could only previously afford to keep them on 3 year deals, often only extending by 1 or 2 years. Tarks and Pritchard were different as Tarkowski refused to play for us once Burnley got involved and Pritchard was just on loan, but the point is we now have most of our players on 4-5 year deals with extensions thrown in there as opposed to just a 2-3 year deal. So if we are going to lose Sergi Canos or Ryan Woods we'll either be in a position to say no or demand top dollar as opposed to just taking something rather than nothing. Currently we have the best winger in the league, if we keep him he'll score a shitload and if we sell him we'll make a shitload and bring in someone who can make a similar impact on a long term contract. We're still waiting on Alan Judge to come back and that's not mentioning the likes of Canos, Jozefzoon and Vibe too.
  8. Dembele has proven he's ready for the PL with his goals in the Championship and at Celtic. He does look a good talent and did before he joined Celtic, but asking him to replicate Lukakus goals maybe something else completely.

Right now I'm England but will be staying near the CBD. Last job out there was as a claims handler for an insurance company.

Yes mate, Sydney is a great city and if you like city life and beaches it's the place to go in Australia. I'll pull his hair

As some of you may or may not be aware over a month ago I flew back from Australia with my girlfriend as her dad passed away, after being back a month and a half we have finally booked our tickets back out to Australia, leaving again on the 6th July, just over two weeks. I cannot wait.
  15. I feel like NZ are a lot more accepting of the Maori in their culture and treat the Maori as the core of their culture as opposed to Australia who've done quite the opposite.
  16. I thought Rome ruined Europe for me at the time, such an amazing city and I'm definitely going to go back with the missus instead of my mates this time. But went to Paris with the missus and that was something else, you don't realise what you've got on your doorstep in Europe.
  17. Loved Cairns, spent two months there. You'll be completely surrounded by backpackers haha

    Rugby League

Honestly I think I had one of the best days ever attending a sporting event when I went to Manly to watch the Sea Eagles. Day at the beach, a schooner on the beach, couple of beers and chips on the hill and a close game against Melbourne.

    Rugby League

God don't I miss the NRL
  20. I'm not a massive fan of Henderson but when it's down to Chamberlain or Livermore then we definitely miss him.
  21. That's the issue, Alli created a penalty out of nothing really and that can't be the sort of thing Southgate is relying on otherwise we'll get beaten by a decent team. For me it was obvious early on that we weren't creating or pressing, so why not play Alli deeper? If we can't get the ball forward why not let him push it forward, it may not be his best game but it's better than those two being isolated up too. We played with three centre backs but lost all benefits of that formation when we resorted to just parking the bus. The whole point is that the midfield and wing backs can push on and use the width created to try and pall apart their defence.
  22. But you can't point out where all these millions of pounds that you aren't spending must be or are going to..
  23. The FA Cup is now beneath Arsenal FC Asura, only the league or champions league matters. Even when Arsenal get constantly outspent in both.
