  1. I did.. how do you think I know about it...
  2. On the second episode now..
  3. Congratulations @6666 well played..
  4. First record I ever purchased that is... class even after all this time
  5. Pleased really, Got a sensible head on his shoulders it seems, not swayed by the approaches of United or Chelsea.. Fans will love that..
  6. Most of the swinging I do these days is after dark at various clubs in London...
  7. This has to be a bigger gamble than the one we are about to take...
  8. Nice work @Rab I actually used a couple of other things to do on that list that popped up... mostly stuff in the garden
  9. You get that impression.. They clearly don't have a long term project because they can't stick with anyone long enough to find out if real progress is being made.. Sacking Poch made no sense given the strong end to the season. Giving him one more to see if he can build on that good finish might have made more sense but if he had us languishing in 10th or 11th for most of the next season then fair enough. I also get the feeling that the managers they are bringing in are not involved in recruitment at all and get what they are given, total lack of experience in the team is fairly evident and it will take a couple of seasons to build that confidence and maturity.. I just think they are trying anyone that has had some reasonable success and hoping they can bring that to us regardless of their experience..
  10. Don't really know what to make of this if it goes ahead... Unless he can get almost instant results and keep us in the hunt for a top 4 place I doubt he will last more than a season before they are looking for someone else.. Looking at what happened to City in their last 14 games it doesn't bode well for a strong finish to the season even if he gets everything else right beforehand.. Interesting stat I was reading about those losses at the end for Leicester was that he was unable to turn it around after going behind in most of his games.. They nearly all ended up as losses.. Not sure who is getting the final say on these decisions but would love to be a fly on the wall to find out how they pick future managers and what criteria they are using?? Trying to sell it as a 'long term project' seems to be wearing a bit thin.. Vulture and visionary Todd Boehly is circling his next Chelsea bag-carrier (msn.com)
  11. Unlucky @Tommy Thought with your lead and playing at home you would have had this in the bag.. Did you lot play well or did they relax a bit thinking they were over the line??
  12. I can't count all them mate, do you have a total??
  13. 7th minute for both...
  14. On another note Uniteds win yesterday means we have dropped down to the Europa Conference league qualifications section and although that would probably be a good start for our lot ( pigeon steps and all that ) there are rumblings about even taking part given the financial implications and if it would be better to bin it altogether.. The financial rules are different for the lower tier and even if we were so good and didn't put a foot wrong and went on and won the whole thing it's only worth something like £16M.. Why Man Utd glory puts Todd Boehly and Chelsea in the FFP mire amid European ban claim (msn.com)
  15. Ten Hag safe in his job for the next 50 minutes at least...

Happy Birthday mate... all the best
  17. I am beginning to doubt that... I reckon that would be above his pay grade.. They will spend money no doubt but it will be on potential youth talent for the future and the incoming manager will just have to make do with what he has or has been chosen for him which is probably why there is some discontent and high turnover.. They don't want an upstart with ideas.. they want a mindless drone who just follows orders..
  18. Agreed, No matter how they sell it no manager coming in would be guaranteed to be there the following season unless they managed to secure silverware.. Going to Chelsea is not for the feint hearted..
  19. Yea, I did read an article recently that suggested this was one of the reasons but you would still have to ask what they are looking for long term if they don't stick by a Manager for more than a year to try and build something?? This is a young squad with great potential if it was moulded right and guided in the right direction with sensible investment over a few seasons, a few tweaks here and there and we could be all singing and dancing over the next few seasons..
  20. That seems to be part of the problem though doesn't it, When you listen to some of the things Poch was saying like he would not be involved in transfers over the summer makes you wonder if it was because he knew he would be leaving or because they don't want his involvement... Good sides have a mix of both youth and experience but getting the general feeling now that the Managers have very little say on who comes and who goes..
  21. It's a right old circus... clowns everywhere you look So much for bringing in managers for a long term project. It's just one after another. Boehly seems to be following the Abramovich path of culling managers left right and centre except that when Abramovich did it we always had something to show for it at the end of a season.. I strongly doubt that whomever they bring in would have much more luck than the previous ones because it seems as though the team itself and players we get are not in their hands but they are expected to make something out of someone else's choices.. " Here a bunch of young players we picked now go make it work " Someone could get lucky of course, the improvements towards the end of the season looked promising and if that could be maintained we could have a much better season ahead but if the manager is not getting much say on recruitment either in or out then don't really see the point in having one?? Might as well put a cardboard cut out in the dugout every matchday..
  22. Congratulations Nudge... Thanks for running this @RandoEFC
