  1. For those of us who just can't decide on one team to follow:
  2. This will show up in a German football quiz in the future. I've been answering random questions with "Michael Preetz" and it's about to payoff.

  10. What a guitarist. "Get the Funk Out" came on the radio the other day and I had it cranking. Hadn't heard any Extreme in a long time.
  11. Hard to come back from pubic inflammation.
  12. And apparently he suffered from pubic inflammation and missed the last several games of this season.
  13. Ha, I just looked up his stats and I guess I'm talking out of my ass. I swore he was in 2. Liga for more than just 1+ seasons.
  14. He had a down year (by his standards) last year but historically he's done very well in 2. Buli. Regensburg are rebuilding and they can't afford to buy him outright. Has he ever had a crack at the Bundesliga? I don't think he was ever near Bayern's first team.
  15. So just having an eV on their name is no longer an indication that they are non-profit?
  16. This may have been discussed somewhere else but I was curious about this excerpt from an article I read on The Athletic: He did, however, land a sneaky blow by reminding Tebas of last year’s European Court of Justice ruling that Barcelona, Real Madrid, Athletic Bilbao and Osasuna all benefited from illegal state aid for more than 20 years. This is to do with the Spanish authorities treating these member-run clubs as non-profit organisations, giving them a tax advantage over their rivals. The statement itself pertains to the PSG vs. Madrid debate that was later taken up by the Ligue 1 and La Liga presidents. More importantly though, does Germany consider member-run clubs as non-profits?
  17. One part of his comments jumps out at me. That he feels that he and the club can no longer have a working relationship. Is that in regard to the contract extension negotiations or was there something else going on behind the scenes? It's one thing to say "I've been here for 8 years and I'd like to try something else." It's completely different to say "I can't work with this club anymore."

@Harryjust saw your wife had 3 caesarians. My wife had the same. Once you've had one they tend to encourage them all to be that way.
